You might like to chew on this fact. I got it from a reputable source, can't quite remember where, but China's growth in the last 30 years has been greater than any sizeable* country's economy in the entire history of our civilisation. *i.e. not counting microstates like Lichtenstein or whatever. BvL bigging up China. Well imagine my surprise. Given the above is true, any Economist would see China's economic planning as textbook stuff. The trick is to learn from those who have already achieved great things. China's economy was very different to the soviet model, which is what a lot of novices believe it is.

What, as in "Most populus country in the world grows more than anywhere smaller"? Well, quelle surprise. đ But it's still a shit tonne less wealthy per capita than most western democracies. The reason for that condition is you have various microstates that are tax havens. It only works if the population is tiny. You can't have a billion or so people living off the earnings of these banks and law firms. Monaco is another weird place which makes its money off younger high earners like racing car drivers who need a safe place for their cash. China on the other hand built the entire thing from ground up, which is impressive.

I've known you for years, in a 2d sort of a way, and although you come across as an intelligent chap you have this persistent admiration for China, yet you must know that China is a ruthless dictatorship where dissent is not tolerated.

I find them fascinating in that they think differently. The culture is as old as the hills. For example in the book on the art of war, the first lesson is try as hard as you can not to have one. Also in other places which are not like this there is all this technical debate going on and I like to chat to them about it because they are very intelligent and love maths and physics. They do appreciate my contributions as well. They are cool with the Brits. More so than you might imagine in fact.

They are brilliant at maths and science. There are two countries which come top of the world and that is the US and China. The Koreans and the Japs are also close to the top, but with this country the impression I get is absolute zero on technical matters. The reason I know this is in the comments I leave under videos which relate to certain nationalities, plus the videos themselves and also in reading scientific papers. The Chinese are hungry for knowledge, and Americans are too. I can't believe the stupidity I see in Britain though. I see it everywhere, in government, in industry, in academia. If I ever do find any sense in this country it is generally very patchy and in small groups. The Indians are trying hard, but they are still shit, where our county does not even want to know. It's just crazy on stuff like football, games shows and pubs.

And I'm not sure the US, the richest country in the world where nearly 50% of the population struggle to pay for even basic health care is a particularly good example of achievement. You say the Chinese are hungry for knowledge, but all kids are hungry for knowledge. Some African kids walk for miles to get to a school with no facilities because they are hungry for knowledge. Unfortunately education in some western countries this country in particular is taken for granted, which is the fault of the government, not kids. The rot started when corporal punishment was banned and we adopted a relaxed approach to education and kids were treated as little adults.

I'm saying no fucker from this country can understand the more complicated stuff, but in China they do. It is a really big difference. This place is so stupid it is hardly worth one's breath. What is the point in conversing with those who completely ignore you every time, even in so called educated papers like The Times they still lack interest. I saw it the other day in the covid enquiry on how many know what an exponential function is. It's not fuckwit politicians, it is fuckwits from top to bottom.

We moved from a nation of people with interests, curiosity and a spirit of adventure, to a nation of people who watch reality TV to obtain a role model.
The complete collapse will come, though the exact timing is a matter of uncertainty. Imho - what we have now is unsustainable and will hit a wall (strong and chaotic headwinds).

Basically, nobody is happy with the way the country has been governed which probably started back as far as the 70's and has been growing since then, it isn't just the UK it is going on around the world with the US having its own seat of governance attacked. While they keep up the pretence of opposition landslides which turn out less than half the voters in total. Because on the whole voters realise, they have no input once said vote is cast. They are left at the mercy of a few people living in a completely alternative reality.

The complete collapse will come, though the exact timing is a matter of uncertainty. Imho - what we have now is unsustainable and will hit a wall (strong and chaotic headwinds). It's weird actually because despite what you say being almost universally true in Britain there is another trend developing in the last few years which is going the complete opposite way. This opposite way is facilitated by social media. It is possible today to completely eliminate the MSM from your diet of information. As you start to do this the AI figures you don't like MSM crap and it stops feeding it to you, but in order to do this you must make sure you are in control of your emotions, which are constantly being manipulated. If you can spot the manipulation you can just block that feed of information, and then you can really start learning and you can learn at a much faster rate than if on a government training scheme or course. How this will pan out I do not know. You have the official debate on a political policy and then you have this parallel learned debate going on where the two exist in isolation. It's like the AI determines if you are in the cult or not.

Tell me about âsmall governmentâ . Nice buzz word. What does it mean. Does small government for example mean the market can always be trusted so we donât need compulsory paid holidays for workers? Dappy, you DO realise bank holidays were created in 1871 And furthermore, the first bill to pass into law forcing employers to give their workers paid holiday was the the Holidays with Pay Act of 1938 which gave those workers whose minimum rates of wages were fixed by trade boards, the right to one weeks' holiday per year www.striking-women.org/module/workplace-issues-past-and-present/paid-leave#History%20of%20the%20struggle%20for%20paid%20leaveYou DO i presume realise the government at that time was led by a chap by the name of Neville Chamberlain who i rather suspect was leader of the TORY party âŚ.

Which fifties politician used the phrase youâve never had it so good ? Harold Macmillan ? I donât know and i was probably still being bottle fed if around at all when he said it but the thing is the manpower shortages caused by two wars, the reality of âequalityâ caused by the need for women to not only rivet aircraft but also deliver them to the fighter squadrons and a whole load more meant the fifties and early sixties saw the upcoming generation living a lifestyle their parents could only dream of but the bubble was very, very short lived. I remember vividly as a kid the damage done when Sheik Yamani realised the petrodollar was so much more effective as a weapon than the bullet. Maybe if the yanks had bent their ear to jewish pleas then and bombed the upstart bastards back into the stone age where they belonged, the west would still have the money it enjoyed before then.
