How much did we pay the Chinese because there was a global shortage of PPE only to find that the stuff they supplied was bloody useless. China did very well out of the pandemic which BTW eminated from there. No, China has fallen off a cliff. One of the contributory factors in our high inflation. They never fell off the cliff during the pandemic tho did they? PPE was a nice little earner for them during their instigated pandemic.

The point YOU have missed this COVID inquiry is set top the TAX PAYERS £100million ...... YES £100million.
It's more waste of tax payers money, if you think it's justified wasting £100million on a COVID inquiry then you need your head examining.
**In August 2022, two months after its establishment, press reports suggested that £85m had already been spent on the Covid-19 Inquiry. Recent reports have suggested that number has now topped £100 million.
Peanuts compared to the money the conservative government lost on useless PPE, Covid fraud, test and trace fiasco. As a tax payer I welcome this enquiry. So we lost millions on the bungled PPE, test and trace etc and you want to lose another £100 million on a pointless enquiry to tell you that we lost millions on bungled PPE, test and trace etc... Do you work for the Labour Party? - if not I think they could easily find you a job..

No surprise there then, we know lefties love wasting tax payers money, spending other peoples money is their forte. It wasn't lefties who lost billions of taxpayers money on Useless PPE, Covid fraud and test and trace fiasco. Then there's this: www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2022/dec/09/revealed-the-full-inside-story-of-the-michelle-mone-ppe-scandalYou must be outraged about this yes?

Surely as someone who hates taxpayer's money being wasted you should be far more angry about that?

China made a bloody mint out of selling useless PPE.

I was complaining about it being spent when you were arguing for it to be spent - but that aside, the money is gone, spending another £100 million is not going to bring it back.

There was a slight uptick, but it still continued on a downwards trend. There was a GLOBAL trend downwards thanks to covid and the frigging lockdowns. China made a bloody mint out of selling useless PPE. Not really. China's GDP had been on a downward trend since 2007. Although it increased slightly in 2021 compared to 2020,it's still below previous years, and it went back down in 2022. Your conclusion that it made a mint out of the pandemic is demonstrably false, and not borne out by the figures.

China made a frigging fortune out of PPE sales. The only one using false figures is you.
China's exports surge on hot demand for PPE, remote working tech
China dominates the pandemic PPE market. What does that mean for U.S. as virus surges?

So to sum up, your response to the Tories losing billions of our money is "meh". Your response to spending £100 million investigating losing said billions is outrage. Have I got that right?
