I can't but help notice a change in political mood amongst those who talk about Reform. All of a sudden the mood has kind of flipped. For as long as I have known, Farage and his YT channel has attracted millions of diehard fans. In the last few days all the top comments are anti-Farage. It seems to be that Farage has not addressed the issue of Peter Lynch. He has not said a thing about him, and Reform fans start to wonder why. Of course if it were just one channel you might think some spam campaign is being organised, but I do not think so. Not only do you see this on Farage's soap box, but on many other YT channels who were pretty much like the Telegraph is to the Conservative Party. The Cons can always rely on the Telegraph at elections, and in the age of social media you have dozens of channels with fairly large followings, typically 100k subscriber level and none of them agree with Farage and his silence, and all seem to be thinking the same. I've not seen Farage's reputation so damaged amongst fans and media supporters as this. The only reason I can offer that has caused it is what Farage has not said. It's like the silence on Peter Lynch is defending. Now he sits in the bracket of "controlled opposition" or the dreaded "WEF" along with Prince Charles and many more.
Fame is so fleeting, isn't it!

They are the kind who say vote Reform and throw throw immigrants out. Well, there's your problem. It does look like a problem. Reform have a lot of superficial fans. Think how it is in the teenage pop world and why some girls might like a certain pop star. It would not be anything to do with his clever use of counterpoint in his symphonies, would it?
My point is superficial stardom can be easily gained, but just as easily lost.

You have a good point there and I've seen it myself, especially the disino on COVID. The thing is it is not just Farage's channel, but there are dozens of pretty popular channels that are supporters of Reform but have been getting doubts about Farage in particular. I think this started to become more noticeable when Farage was found out to have lied about the speaker of the House of Commons re his refusal to do surgeries.
Farage has a track record of this kind of loutish contempt for his job and there was always some of that in the background, but I think now he is MP the spotlight is far more analytical. Farage is very good at talking, but now is the time he has to walk the walk as an MP and make real decisions that affect the country. The death of this government corruption campaigner as a very popular figure is a kind of white version of that cop in the US killing the black man who then sparked BLM. The death in prison looks suspicious in that he was in good health prior to his arrest. It could be a bit of state dodgy business. Put someone in the wrong cell on purpose and in some cases you could be sentencing them to death. How would we know anyway?

I don't know which govt corruption campaigner you mean, but I'd be interested in seeing that, send us a link to that, I agree about the founder of BLM by the way he did die in very sus circumstances. That's an interesting point you've raised there. As far as Farage goes, no one is perfect, many politicians misspeak and omit things and I will personally not condemn

I reckon it was likely yourself or like minded folk baron that has made anti Farage comments on his utube . You seem to like sticking the boot in when the opportunity arises . Not exactly sure what you want him to say that he hasn't already said , that he was 'appalled at the level of violence shown at Rotherham' the riot that Peter Lynch attended and was arrested at . Why would Farage say anything about him apart from he was an idiot to get involved in the riot , A bloke of his age should have known better ? Why upset the blokes family more during their grief ,he chose the wrong riot to go on his demo against the government . Farage will never condone violence The issue with the summer riots was the sentences and the speed they were handed out ,there was no other conspiracy or state dodgy business and the guy wasn't a well man either having recently had a heart attack and suffered from diabetes , angina and thyroid issues .

Here he is, poor fellow.
I think Farage has a bit of a snobbery thing in that he does not like the working class.
