In your critique of far right groups you neglect to mention the NF who were probably the first post war right wing group in the UK, apart from the SNP, but no one talks abut that because they're not English and as we all know, only white English people can be racists. The NF represented what many people believed in in England, in the old days. I won't condemn them either and I don't see far right as a derogatory label. The SNP are centrist these days, maybe they were far right in the 1970s I don't know, but now they are centrists. They have lost a lot of seats recently. The Alba party may make big inroads where SNP did not manage to

Sounds like he was a man who had many severe health issues and died possibly owing to them, but the sentence seems unnecessarily harsh when many are doing far worse things and he (Lynch) was a patriot, who sadly died. There should be reform of the CJS. The Baron is a good poster who provides many good insights into issues and is a patriot. In any case, Farage is also a good patriot who seems not to be snobby, he is a man of the people and goes to the pub just like anybody else for eg. I will not condemn him. How are you defining "Patriot"? The opposite of you...

Patriot is like racism over used and like many things lost its meaning.

The thing is there seems to be a rival crew. It used to be called BNP, then British First, EDL, Tommy Robinson and so on. These type would have been diehard Labour supporters in the 70s, as per industrial workers and men with big muscles. They get piss poor pay and Farage seems to think he is much better than they are, which causes a whole load of friction, since after all it is they who get the bad end of immigration. This could explain this recent fracas. They think Farage is a lightweight. In your critique of far right groups you neglect to mention the NF who were probably the first post war right wing group in the UK, apart from the SNP, but no one talks abut that because they're not English and as we all know, only white English people can be racists. However, notwithstanding your lack of accuracy, lets continue. Lefties will sneer at Farage, they always have. But these days they don't sneer with any confidence and behind closed doors they will be very concerned about the rise of Reform UK, if they have any sense. I don't know what you mean by lefties. They are just Northern working class and they can be a lot politer than many I come across. Look up The Preston Journalist as an example.

Patriot is like racism over used and like many things lost its meaning. I think when someone calls brave army lads patriots, or Churchill, the meaning is still crystal clear

Sorry, but just to clarify, I was thinking of Farage. Farage had a thing about the BNP and prides himself on destroying them. The National Front was really a 70s thing according to my memory. This was the time I was still at school. I think Farage was as well. Anyway, this was when the agro started. The BNP were not far anything. They were simply ahead of their time. today Jenrick calls for one million to be deported. Well back when Farage was slagging them off, the BNP were saying the only feasible thing was repatriation. I agreed with them then and still do. It was common sense. They can come here, so they can go back again. If going back is extreme then so is coming here!

Farage did not destroy the BNP, he aligned with the view that the BNP were unacceptable as a pragmatic approach. This was because the BNP were easy meat for the establishment to destroy through law and through 'impromptu' but well organised and government funded counter groups, largely due to their past history and utterings which could be easily referenced, manipulated and misdirected. Farage knows that being whiter than white is the only way to win and active separation from any suspicions of 'racism' must be exorcised otherwise those links will be used as a means to destroy. There is some strong, and cogent, suspicion that the Clacton loud racist was an active plant for an 'undercover sting' which kind of tells us what ' the establishment' will get up to to counter democracy they find unacceptable.
