Ok I'll rephrase it.... Public Sector/Civil Servants are run by lefty Unions, and if you don't strike or follow your 'brothers' you are a blackleg, so technically Civil Servants/Public sector workers are hostages to the LEFTY Unions. Nope. I'm a civil servant and my department certainly isn't run by the unions, I've never heard of anyone being blacklegged and many of us aren't even union members. So while that may be a perception, it certainly isn't borne out by the reality. I wasn't aware that Civil Servants and Public sector workers weren't represented by unions, mainly leftist.

The tell tale sign Labour are in BIG trouble, is the fact BIG mouth Rayner is quite, alarm bells should be ringing, ring a ding ding, for Gobby to be quite more shit is yet to hit the fan. She is where she wants to be, so she leaves gobbiness to her detractors

I have never used that excuse, so that comment is straight from your imagination. stop blaming the tories for having police numbers so low in england when labour did the same in scotland. The comment is warranted , because you spout bullshit on a daily basis on this site. thats correct , and ive backed this up. Labour were defeated , in part for the mess they had police in in scotland , and much more. If you want to know the reasons why labour hadn't funded more police officers in scotland like the snp did once labour were booted out , do your own digging and research. The answer is irrelevant either way to my point , which is stop hypocritically bleating about what other parties do when your party labour do it as well. In other words you don't know, meaning you are full of assumptions and biased opinion. Fair enough.

The likes of Lawyers and Solicitors have their own versions of Unions. Its just common sense to have an organisation to back up your Profession or your Skill.

I have given you the factual information relative to my point. Ie , Scottish police officers had their numbers increased under the incoming snp administration from the low the previous labour administration had them. im not here to make excuses for your pathetic party. ?Thats up to you to do that. if you think im wrong ,prove it?

You said "Run by" which was incorrect. Yes, there are staff who are union members, and many who are not. But that does not equate to the service being represented by, let alone, run by the unions.

I never said it wasn't, what I am saying that if you are in a Civil Service/Public Sector Union which are leftist, and they want to strike, Junior Doctors, Teachers they don't have a option to say .... No I'm not striking ... they have to strike, unless they turn into work on their own, which makes them a blackleg.

If you work for the NHS Junior Doctors, or Teachers Union and they strike you don't have a option of objecting or just turning in, otherwise you are a 'blackleg' so I assume the Unions 'RUN' them. Just watch if there is a teachers strike or Junior doctors strike, none of them will turn in even if they don't agree with the strike, meaning the lefties UNIONS call the shots.

The money was there swirling about labours coffers as we have seen earlier. A un report in 2005 for example had Glasgow ranked as the murder capital of Europe under labour , and scotland the most violent country in the developed world .So the need was there? So can you give me labours excuse as to why they failed to properly invest in Scottish policing , and it took the incoming snp administration to boost police Scotlands numbers? Over to you?

Look I'm not against Unions, I actually believe workers should be fairly represented, but what I am against is when UNIONS are playing politics, which they did under the Tories, it was a plain as a Bulgarian pinup that they were just playing politics and whatever the Tories offered would never be enough, and it becomes dangerous when UNIONS become a political party.

My wife works for the NHS and has never been on strike. And there are several teaching unions which is why teachers don't all go on strike. And if you do go on strike you don't get paid. Which is why many don't even if they probably should. So no, the unions don't run, don't represent and don't call the shots. Although if they're bankrolling this corrupt government that could well change.

When the tories or snp take over , they stir up trouble with the unions to play politics. You only need to look for example at the Glasgow city council equal pay dispute , which labour spent years and countless millions fighting against , and as soon as they were kicked out of power , stirred the unions up to fight the snp and get the snp to fix the very problems labour had caused in the first place , costing Glasgow taxpayers millions in the process , all to play politics.

On this one we are going to be agreeing to disagree, the lefty Civil Service/Public Sector Unions played a BIG part why Labour won this General Election, if the UNIONS say Junior Doctors are striking then they are striking, no iffs no buts. The UNIONS bankroll the lefty Labour, so why would labour bite the hand that feeds them, that is why Labour will bow to their every whim because they bankroll them, it's a FACT.
