Police exodus threatens Starmer’s manifesto vow for more officers...
Perhaps start supporting police officers and paying them appropriately then, Two-Tier.

Doctors are threatening to do the same if Reeves interferes with the 25% tax free pension lump sum.
This government are in BIG trouble the only people who are winners of a Labour government are the UNIONS, which is becoming ever more evident, this government are probably going to be the first government in the History of UK to demand a vote of no confidence, Labour would be very naive if it thought this could not happen.

That’s because doctors are not as stupid as the dimwits that love the idea of punishing pensioners . They probably see farther than dumb ass politics of envy. They want to work hard , save into a pension and benefit from their hard work when they retire..rather than let the doofuses take a slice .

The new government has not cut police numbers, the Tories did. The new government has not cut police funding, the Tories did. The new government has not decided on police pay, the Tories either froze it or failed to give the police pay increases to match inflation. Hypocriscy

As you say, hypocrisy. devolved policing in scotland was a big problem in terms of numbers under labour..... once scotland kicked labour out , in 2007 , the numbers rose dramatically. Then only hypocrisy I can see is coming from you Labour Party muppets.

Thats all you are going to hear for the next five years, it's the tories fault. You would think they would change the fucking record by now . I believe labour run Wales is in the process of having policing devolved , so its going to be interesting how welsh labour make a mess of policing like every fucking other thing they touch . Just like labour in scotland did with policing when they were last in power.....

I said that the government need to start supporting police officers and paying them appropriately. Which they do. And the word you're looking for is “Hypocrisy” and as the living embodiment thereof, you should at least know how to spell it.

Senior Police Officers may also retire early as they fear losing a big chunk of their Pensions

I suspect this shit show has given some comfort and incentive to the SNP.

The Police and NHS are both used by the Politicians to score points against each other
The numbers of Police Officers in England and Wales in 1979 was 110,000 and started to rise , in 1999 the numbers went down a little then rose again by 2003 to 140,000, gone down since then, the Tories did not cut the numbers of recruits they could not afford to recruit more Officers the Treasury Coffers were empty
On average over the years it is stated there are only 200 Police Officers for every 100,000 of the Population which as we know is increasing all the time, IMO no where near enough Officers over the years which in IMO will not change in the foreseeable future, the UK has far fewer Police Officers than Police numbers in Europe.
Police numbers go up and down as Officers retire, or are cast due to ill health, or Injured, some just walk away to take up better paid employment, will this present Government be able to recruit and retain more Officers I doubt it
