The period leading upto the world recession of 2008 was the last time we saw decent, sustainable growth, which we have not seen for 14 years. So yes I agree, we can judge the new government on Labours most recent past government You seem to be forgetting Crash Gordon. So yes, we can judge by past administrations. "crash Gordon" a typical piece of Tory dishonest propaganda.

Let me tell you something, everyone in the country is dreading the budget, including this government. Money is leaving this country faster than ever before, wealthy people are fleeing like rats from a sinking ship, and who can blame them. This shower are already the most unpopular government in living memory, can you imagine what it's going to be like after the budget in which Reeves is widely predicted to massively increase the tax burden. That useless socialist human rights lawyer who is masquerading as a prime minister is failing to meet even the low standards most people thought he just may achieve. He is clearly out of his depth, he is not only a national embarrassment, but an international embarrassment who has been found wanting. He will not last 12 months. My worry is, looking at the low standard of modern Labour politicians, any replacement is unlikely to be an improvement. For as long as you continue to be influenced by Tory propaganda you will continue to think up night mares. Is that your massive contribution to the discussion! You really shouldn't have bothered. Oh wait, you didn't.

And Harold Wilson that is why the Tories were in power for 18 years The failing economy from the 1951/64 Tory government from which the UK economy never recovered, and the lies that nationalisation and trade unions were the cause of all our problems, plus Thatcher enjoying the profits from natural gas and North sea oil (until she privatised them), are the lies that kept the Tories in office for 18 years, Even then they left two huge economic black holes where the NHS and state education should have been.

Oh wait, you didn't. If you had "bothered" with your original post, I would not have needed to clarify it for you. Your Rightist superficial approach to politics does need some helping along, even if you fail to, are unable to, take notice of commonsense.

All you ever do is put forth conspiracies for labours lamentable record in office past and present. Somehow somewhere it's all the tories fault. We in scotland , like the good folk in Wales , who never vote tory , know better though . We have seen the carnage labour administrations have left in their wake in the devolved parliament , parliaments the tories have never been near taking power in. We have seen the mess labour left that the snp have had to clear up , and the good folk of Wales have suffered for a quarter of a century under labour administrations . Clearly , all across the uk , the few people. who voted for labour at the last election are having serious buyers remorse , and no amount of squealing about it all being the tories fault is going to change that.

We don't have any jurisdiction once they are in international waters. It's the job centre that forces people to apply to these people. These are FERRIES that operate between Britain and France, with an Eau that claims jurisdiction overall of it. There are no international waters here, and even if there were, we have absolute jurisdiction over which vessels we allow to dock. It would be a trivial matter to force P&O to reflag their ferries as British, or French, neither of which allow Albanian pay rates..... You have to be some 25 miles out I think. That's when they would blow out the min wage and pay the international going rate.

I know we've left the EU but even the most cold hearted Farage Fan isn't going to demand the one mile and 450 yards of the route from Dover to the old 'Calais Maritime' docking quay for the boat train to Gare Du Nord be deemed international waters ...

They were just spoilt before with top British wages when they counterparts were getting 2 quid an hour at sea. Imagine if one day there were a free market in train drivers. They would not be getting 70 grand for sitting in a nice warm cab. Anyway, Arabs would look at you as a slave.

Labour is haemorrhaging seats and voter trust, figures show....... Labour endured another smattering of defeats at the ballot box this week after a wave of 20 council by-elections were held on Thursday. The governing party endured a net loss of four seats in a series of local contests held across the UK. Conservatives gained two seats from Labour while the Liberal Democrats and Greens took a seat each from them. The by-elections took place across the south, north and midlands, as well as Scotland and Wales.....

Soz but I cannot help laughing the party faithful from both sides are arguing over who is less likely to kill you, make you homeless and put you in the poor house, when it is fairly obvious there isn't a fag paper between them. They still don't get they have no say in the matter and its all nonsense.
