A Downing street spokesman has announced there will be no celebrations to commemorate this governments first 100 days in office, LOL. No honestly, I really did laugh out loud. I mean given the shambles this government is, was such an announcement really necessary? Starmer’s first 100 days could not have gone worse - linkStarmer's Clumsy First 100 Days - linkDisastrous; Starmer's first 100 days - link
Etc etc the links are endless. This Labour government are proving to be an embarrassing bunch of clueless amateurs, they are not only the most unpopular government this century, they are the most unpopular government in living memory, and that's what many Labour voters are saying.

Well unless I'm mistaken that was an 'investment' from a company keen to fuck its workforce over at every possible opportunity. I'm not mourning their decision to fuck another country's workforce. Some investments have a hidden price not worth paying

The most disastrous 100 days of office that any Prime Minister in living history has ever had. But not as bad as the thousands of days of failing to address the nonsense economic failures by the Tories.

I suspect there might be a few last minute changes to the budget such is the mess they have made over pensions. Did I hear that pensions or pensioners are already due for a £150 increase?

UK politics live: Half of Labour voters ‘let down’ by 2T Starmer, Jenrick vows he won’t return Tories to centre...... 2T Keirs popularity has hit a new low after a new poll revealed that nearly 60 per cent of the public disapproves of the government’s performance so far. As Labour approaches its 100th day in power, the government is facing a rocky start. A YouGov survey found 59 per cent of voters feel unimpressed with the new government with only 18 per cent expressing approval. Adding to the prime minister’s challenges, another recent poll found a concerning decline in the party’s support. The Techne UK weekly tracker poll for The Independent has revealed voters aged 55 and over have abandoned Sir Keir’s party, with a dramatic slide to less than 30 per cent. It comes as the prime minister chaired his inaugural devolved government summit today, but his new envoy, Sue Gray, was absent. Defending his colleague, cabinet Office minister Pat McFadden said Ms Gray has “been through quite a lot” in recent weeks, explaining her career break. In the Tory leadership race, Robert Jenrick has admitted regret over his decision to order the removal of murals depicting cartoon characters from a children’s asylum centre. Speaking on LBC, he reflected on his time as immigration minister and claimed “lessons have been learned”.

He means he found it a lot easier contradicting the last government than actually being in government, He has done nothing about the main concern of the majority, immigration . Floundering Keir Starmer admits being PM is 'tougher than anything I've done before' and says Labour's multiple scandals have caused 'choppy days' - as he rebukes Transport Minister Louise Haigh over £1bn P&O gaffe...... 2T Keir has admitted that his first 100 days in government have been beset by 'choppy days' and 'bumps and side-winds' - as the beleaguered PM confessed that being in charge of the country was the toughest job he has ever faced. The former director of public prosecutions has weathered a storm of scandals and accusations of cronyism - while critics say he is not up to the job as it emerged comments by the transport secretary may have scuppered a £1bn ports deal. Starmer visibly pursed his lips as he was quizzed on comments made by Louise Haigh about P&O Ferries, whom she described as 'cowboy operators' following a 2022 scandal that saw 800 staff sacked and replaced with cheap agency workers. Haigh encouraged others to boycott the firm - reportedly infuriating P&O's Dubai-based owners, who have yanked an announcement to expand their London Gateway container port. And he looked downcast as he had to fire back that her position was 'not the view of the government' - even though the accompanying press release directly calls out P&O Ferries and refers to fire-and-rehire firms as 'rogue employers'. He was interviewed on the BBC's Newscast podcast as he approached the milestone target - seen as a key stage at which a new government's early success is reviewed since the US presidency of Franklin D Roosevelt in 1933. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13952343/keir-starmer-labour-louise-haigh-p-o-ferries.html

Why didn't we just keep our Big Gobs closed.

Some minister has just lost the UK a one billion investment thanks to her fat gob! An expensive tweet. I assume you refer to Louise Haigh's comments about P&O Ferries being bad employers, P&O Ferries are of course owned by Dubai based DP World. Louise Haigh is a good example of someone who is inexperienced and overpromoted. I mean, just look at her. This is a British minister of state. Is it any wonder people all over the world are laughing at this car crash of a government.
