www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-68821646Well given just destructive having Truss in your corner can be for... ...well, anything, she might just have done the world a favour by "supporting" Trump. Golden Rule Of Politics No 2022: If Liz Truss thinks it is a good idea then invariably it is a fucking awful idea. All The Best 200% CORRECT In a Westminster style democracy such as Canada, next door to the United States, or a Western European state, there is no way that anyone like Trump would get onto the ballot paper. Democracy in the United States is a farce If we EVER had Truss, or someone like her as Prime Minister again, it would only make our society divisive, and make politics caustic.

Truss is a deluded fruitcake who has worked her way through being a Margaret Thatcher tribute act and is now desperate to hitch herself to another political personality. I just wonder how such a spectacular failure manages to keep popping into view with another wheeze... As an ideological lefty your comments come as no great surprise. However, the more enlightened have always been of the opinion that Truss would have made a good Conservative prime minister had it not been for the men in grey suits. Indeed, you may remember at the hustings Truss wiped the floor with Sunak which is why she won. But as I said, the men in grey suits would not be denied their man. A decision they now regret.

Your fifty-day PM — put into office by the likes of the Blue Rinse and Col Blimp Tory Party members of Tunbridge Wells — crashed the UK's standing in the market, forced up the interest rates, and impoverished many people by increasing their rents and mortgage repayments.
Too many people ignored Rishi Sunak when he asked the deluded one how she was going to pay for all this. Well, she didn't have to pay — it's the struggling home-makers and young families that have had to foot the bill and are still paying...

Of course they fucking were. Just different "puppet masters" to the one other people serve. All The Best Ok I'll rephrase it . The golden rule in politics these days is to obey the left wing puppet masters ,something for the betterment of society that neither she nor Trump were prepared to do . Truss was a LibDem. Trump was a Democrat.

Would a LibDem tell Conservatives they have ten years to save the west?

Well the only attempt she made to "save Britain" was to heap unwanted interest rates upon a population which had nothing to do with her election. So much for small government and individual choice. I think, and for obvious reasons, you are intentionally failing to see the bigger picture. Liz Truss could hardly do anything in five minutes. She was replaced because the men in grey suits wanted Sunak. And it must be said Oracle, it's a bit rich for someone who is such an enthusiastic supporter of an unelected EU president and executive, to talk about a population who had nothing to do with Truss's election. If you really knew anything about the EU you would know that there are 3 presidents, all elected by the same process as in the UK...representative democracy. Of course Truss cant do something in five minutes. It took her 43 days and her legacy is still being paid for by home owners or renters.

No indeed. The only policy Truss had was to cut taxes. What Tory party member wouldnt like that? Sunak said it was a suicide plan. And so it turned out to be. The idea of old time Tory members deciding who the PM will be is a disaster waiting to happen...and did.

She will do well as Trump's tart. They share the same brain cell. And luckily they are both unable to jump into bed anymore. They will have to unceremoniously crawl. A fitting image.

The president of the EU is not elected by any electorates, he or she is appointed by the parliament. OK there's an election of sorts, but with only one name on the ballot paper it's like no election any democracy would recognise. The British prime minister on the other hand, is elected to parliament by his or her constituents.

Well, she didn't have to pay — it's the struggling home-makers and young families that have had to foot the bill and are still paying... They said at the time that the massive extra spending was going to be funded by borrowing - if you announce an £150 Billion increase in spending to be funded by borrowing it's no surprise that the markets took fright.

Lets not forget she had just soundly beaten him to number 10. I agree, the Tories were insane to replace Truss with Sunak in an undemocratic farce of a process that I'm sure will change. Sunak has in my opinion been a disaster, he is not a Conservative, he is not a prime minister, he is a centrist academic. Which is why the Tories are in the trouble they're in.

I am amazed that you accept two unelected PM's but criticise a president voted for by elected representatives. Exactly as your party leaders/PM's are elected .
