Have you forgotten all that's happened between then and now? Firstly we didn't even know what Brexit would be until 2019 (Still don't really now) Then we had a plague (remember) Then a war and cost of living crises. So its on the back burner but support for re-joining grows steadily and is way beyond statistical chance now. And that is what remainers are using as a reason to overthrow Brexit. Anti-democratic liars. They are , or certainly many of them and their political representatives like starmer certainly are. When you are reduced to lies and duplicity to try and sqeeze through your political views , then you know things must be bad., That why debating with so called centrist anglo remaienrs like zanygame is so fucking easy.....their views are so shallow and easily torn apart its incredible.
Johnson whatever anyone thinks of him stood on a brexit ticket and won a landslide in 2019. Starmer , an out and out europhile is reduced to telling porkies about not rejoining the eu to try and sneek into power. If he does win the next GE , it wont be off the back of wondrous policy and public support , it will be off the back of falling into place due to tory infighting.
people like zangame and his ilk just cant see they are part of the problem of uk politics , not the solution.
I had mor respect for the lib dems and dizzie jo winson for telling the truth of their views on brexit than i do starmer and his new labour ilk and thier support.
I still cant get my head around zany and his voting tory to keep corbyn out post. That s one of the best ones i have heard on a politics forum for a while now , and shows why these centrists are so out of fucking touch with the rest of us.

If you spoil your Ballot Paper nobody will know why or care, they just count them and that is it I've been involved in counting the votes. Each spoilt ballot is carefully examined and scrutinised to ensure that it cannot be attributed to one of the candidates. If some "guidance for government" is written thereon, it will be seen. Not true a spoilt ballot shows contempt for the lies you are being fed in the first place. Which for sure you will be.

Lets just recap what brexiters have won over the last 6 years for my delusional friend zany and his mythical silent remain majority graphs. 2015 general election , brexiters win by backing cameron to hold a brexit ref. Labour may i remind you opposed democracy. 2016 brexit referendum , brextiters win. 2017 general election ,both main parties promise to back brexit and brexiters win again. 2019 european elections , brexiters win majority depsite bbc portraying it as a remain win much to everyones amusement. 2019 general election....brexiters win. all the while centrists like zany tell us there is a remain majority........ FFS! 2015, before Brexit. (I said people have changed their minds) 2016 brexit referendum (I said people have changed their minds) 2017 before the penny dropped and the polls showed the people have changed their minds. 2019 Euro elections whatever are you on about? Who even bothered to vote? 2019 GE. I've already given my opinion on that.

Laugh hard and long and enjoy the show, its coming to an end. Just look at the party Boris told you was going to make Brexit work. Now that is the real laugh. Im not a brexiter. Dont tell me mate. What im adressing in this thread is your utter bullshit and wishfull thinking. You have to go out and vote mate for change , not sit posting mythical graphs on interwebby forums. Yep. I'm keeping the government aware of the change in attitude on Brexit. The mythical polls (dozens of them) show what the people want and governments look at them even if you are in denial.

Until then , you play away all day long for all i care with your mythical polls and wee graphs of delusion.
Anyone with an ounce of sense knows the uk rejoining would have the world laughing uproarisously. You wouldnt live it down all dignity would be shot to bits.

Your opinion isnt worth jack shit , and is of course nothing more than delusion . The facts listed so far speak for themself.

You only find it easy because you cherry pick what you believe. You dismiss the hundreds of polls without any reason other than their inconvenience. You fail to look at any of the reasons people have changed their minds because you simply deny they have. Why you struggle to imagine me voting tactically to keep corbyn out is beyond comprehension. I own a sizeable business and Corbyn's policies would have probably killed it. The 2019 GE was not a single issue referendum. So you just keep denying any of this, avoid talking about the failed trade deals etc. And tell yourself the polls are all wrong.

You only find it easy because you cherry pick what you believe. You dismiss the hundreds of polls without any reason other than their inconvenience. i have addressed this time and again. Polls have their place as a rough guide , but what matters is votes at the ballot box , and that is where anglo remainers have lost time and again. As ever , you trumpet jam tomorrow and the rise of this mythical remain majority at some time in the future.
I havent denied anything , i pointed out the reality of votes , and you point out mythical polls.
Reality is a terrible place for anglo remainers and centrists like yourself.
I certainly do indeed struggle. The idea any man or woman so anti brexit , who claims to support labour could vote for a tory brexit party under the delusion of tactical voting to keep a socialist out of power takes my breath away.
If true , it shows how morally vacuous and politically dubious you centrists really are and why you should never be allowed near power ever again.
What a fucking liar you are. It was about brexit pure and simple. Boris promised to get brexit done , starmer directed labour policy of stopping brexit by dubious means and received a tanking , so much so that the red wall seats voted labour down.
Swinson and the liberals were probably the most honest of the lot , but paid the price for misreading the room.
No what im doing is correcting your lies and poor attempts at sophistry. You arent quite clever enough zany. Honesty should always be the best policy , which is why labour consistenly lose elections. They think the public arent bright , but the public are at a higher level than the dimwits in new labour.

Yes as I have said before. the 2019 election is the only legitimate mandate for Brexit. But look back that's not what Jonksy was saying it was. Can you expand on that Steve. I am a remainer, but I voted Tory to make sure Corbyn didn't get in. Which seemed the greater evil to me. Jonksy (in reply to you) falsely asserted Brexit got massive public support at that election. . . .Even the frigging blind could se the last GE was the biggest endoresment that leave could have......Good innit? [/div][/quote] But had he counted the numbers (and he's been told this many times) he would know in votes terms it got anything but.

How do you think we got a referendum in the first place? - it wasn't by people crying in their beer and wailing that life is not fair. They got of their arse and voted for what they wanted - and when enough of them voted for it their wish was granted. But this is us remainers asking for a second referendum. And you arguing we should shut up. At the moment the government if deaf, even a petition that reached critical mass was dismissed. Its not the right time now, there's too much else going on. All we're doing at the moment is informing people on what Brexit has not achieved, to build more support. LOL - over the years the calls for a referendum by people who wanted to leave the EU were constantly ignored by the establishment. It was only through being successful at the ballot box that they made their views heard. You seem to want to go directly to another referendum without doing all the hard work.

FFS! You actually miss a key vote. In 2011 (by a massive majority) the UK endorses First Past the Post. That means that although most in 2019 voted for parties of the 'think again' persuasion on Brexit the public has to accept that the process the public wanted gave a massive legal majority in Parliament to Brexiters People could write volumes about that election. From idiot squeaky woman calling for it having been played by Farage, (dyed in the wool Brexiter) Corbyn backing it and to the dynamics of what many incl me see as an 'anyone but that Marxist Corbyn' vote by most of the electorate. But because of that 2011 referendum the result and resulting exit has to be accepted.

I misread as you meaning the GE showed support for Brexit. And add to that my point about Corbyn and tactical voting.

Im highlighting to my delusional friend zany the amount of times in recent years brexiters have won votes. Where does the 2011 av referendum fit into this discussion ?
im also struggling to understand your conflciting views on FPTP.
in this thread here , you appear to be telling another member that brexit isnt legitimate because the numbers dont match the end result of the fptp political stitich up in the GE2019.
now you appear to be endorsing fptp in this thread because of 2011 , rubbishing your earlier point in another thread?
Sorry my friend , you appear to be all over the place .
