I fully accept that some small amount of those people may be so sick as to be unable to work - but I certainly do not accept that we should just forget about the vast majority. We used to have programs to get the disabled and long term unemployed into work - yes that was more expensive and difficult for employers but it benefited society. As Starmer now says - the era of cheap imported labour is over. Do you have any stats to back up your numbers? I'm pretty sure you're way out... 1.7 million are on long-term sick and on what was once called incapacity benefit. Are we really supposed to believe there are 1.7 million people so sick that they are incapable of any kind of work? - That’s higher than the total population of Estonia.

Like I said, you're just regurgitating MSM and the farming sector who have been accustomed to protectionist policies. Of course I am. As you are regurgitating and swallowing the fanny coming out of the wankers in Westminster. Who lie from the top down. As you magically fail to answer the question asked. So let me ask you again. OK so how about you getting real and tell me how the Australian deal will not ruin the UK farming industry.

Well the Tories cannot say they were not warned... Alas stupid Englishmen still listen to that racist fascist prat. How he even gets airtime defies the hell out of me.

OK so how about you getting real and tell me how the Australian deal will not ruin the UK farming industry. I've already explained it to you. Read back a few posts. It's great, there's you denouncing a FTA with Australia, Steve doing the same with India. Anyone would think you people are scared of liberalising trade some more. It's as though you need the EU to hold your hand and tell you what's good for you. This mindset has been conditioned upon you by Brussels.

I mourn your inability to read my post and understand it You have nothing to support your insular claim that a FTA between the UK and India will bring lower wages and higher unemployment. Face it, you made up a BS claim and couldn't support it. Actually a fact is you can't even recount my claim properly. Get someone of mental age 5 or higher to explain the difference between AND and OR to you. If you want to deny that jobs tend to migrate to the lowest net labour costs then say so.

No many of them are employable but they are not economically employable on National Minimum Wage.

All you are left with is pedantry about words, AND and OR.

If you think the difference between AND and OR conditions is trivial you are not worth debating with

That's because you lost the crux of the argument based on claim you can't support.
And now you fall back on pedantry as you've already demonstrated you are not worth debating.

Well the Tories cannot say they were not warned... Niggle Fartage is just a big gob with a little knob, who like many so afflicted has delusions of self-importance. If in his twilight years he starts going seriously gaga, he'll probably think he's Napoleon

Well the Tories cannot say they were not warned... Alas stupid Englishmen still listen to that racist fascist prat. How he even gets airtime defies the hell out of me. Fortunately, not all of we Englishmen listen to that prat. Some of us have more sense. But I despair at the many who do. He is an obvious dog whistling racist and borderline fascist, friends of fascists everywhere, supporter of Orban and Trump. His numerous supporters sadly only serve to demonstrate that the idiot bloc is one of the largest voting blocs out there. Which is a problem for democracy in many places, not least England.

I have no doubt that a history of improved distribution of wealth would have created a far better picture.

Well the Tories cannot say they were not warned... IMO, Farage, like many of the people who voted for Brexit at that time, is living off a past success.
