You do realise Thomas has tried to guilt trip me over this poster? I didnt try and guilt trip you. I pointed out your hypocrisy as I have for the last 14 fucking years across a number of forums and the self righteous guff you come out with about forum etiquette and decency ....when it suits you of course. Sad bastard who lets his grammar pedantry lead him to take the piss out of a dyslexic guy. How very christian of you Barry. Here we are again , another thread , and Barry is letting his butthurt from another forum follow him onto this.

You said 'no one outside the UK gives a toss about what it says' then you throw your teddy out of the pram when I don't take you seriously! You're showing all the symptoms of a personality disorder. Obsessive compulsive personality disorder (OCPD) perhaps. I believe psychiatrists sometimes refer to it as Coercive Adherence Syndrome (CAS). Worshippers of cults such as the EU are particularly susceptible, but with treatment a full recovery is possible, eventually. This is a perfect example of your utter inability to discuss anything except your opunion of other people. Which is why you belong in a diacussion group for the under 12's. Stop tantrumming you lefty twit. I assume a diacussion group is where bad cussions are discussed? lol.

Lindsay Hoyle days away from fresh crisis as SNATS set to double down on Commons row..... Sir Lindsay Hoyle is facing yet another Commons crisis next week, after the SNP unveiled new plans to put the Speaker in an extremely tricky position. After a week that saw 71 MPs back a motion of no confidence in his position, Sir Lindsay Hoyle may have hoped the weekend would calm pressure on him to resign......

totheleft
I think you're definitely signposting what we're going to have to see in the near future. After several centuries, having now witnessed Bercow and Hoyle in quick succession, the time has sadly come when it has to be concluded that Parliament's Speaker can no longer be relied upon to act in a manner that it proper, fair, and unbiased, without specific rules being required to force him or her to do so. The assumption that the Speaker will follow precedent and behaving in an honourable way, or take the honourable course of resigning if he's caught blatantly flouting the expected standard of behaviour, has now gone out the window.
As totheleft implies, we've sunk to the level where sadly, a rulebook to keep the Speaker in check is now proving itself to be necessary. Last week's shameful manipulations from the Chair, indicated that those of us hoping that Bercow was just one particularly rotten apple, and that the usual decent standards would return upon his removal, were mistaken. Yes, it does seem that a written set of specific rules to keep conniving or weak willed Speakers in check, is now required.
