Do you believe all the extra green taxes on business and individuals are benefiting the economy? Andrew neil points out in his article as well as punitive green taxes , the idea all these green jobs are going to replace existing jobs is nothing short of an utter fantasy. No is the answer to your question on the evidence we have so far. Starmer is intent on putting a massive financial investment into Green Energy, perhaps if the government had taken the same approach there would not be so much direct Green tax on businesses? Green Jobs would be added to existing jobs.

Net Zero Is UK Law. It Is A UK Law not an individual policy, unless you can prove otherwise. Your final point is an Opinion. Whether you like it or not, green energy is the future, and Labour are serious for a couple of reasons already mentioned, about making making a success of it. No government is going to ruin the UK economy because of Green energy. Anyone who thinks that any government would, stopped thinking when they put their politically bias hat on. Do you believe all the extra green taxes on business and individuals are benefiting the economy? You could educate me on this one as I'm not fully aware of the present, Tory imposed, green taxes on business in the UK.

Don't be daft see2, Starmer has no green policies and has more flip flops than on Brighton Beach, he can't make his mind up which way the wind's blowing, it's put him in a predicament when it comes to political point scoring, he'll be damned if he does and damned if he doesn't, we're waiting to see which way he goes on the Port Talbot closure, will it be his praise for the green policies, or will it be point scoring with job losses?

But Port Talbot’s business is a DEVOLVED matter, and Wankford has spent every minute since he was handed his current post, and currently plans to spend 80% of his budget on a self proclaimed ‘climate emergency’ You can’t pin this on the tories They’ve had fuck all to do with welsh business for 24 years. Christ, Moira still looked decent in a bikini back when she still worked for Nicholas Edwards, which was the last time welsh business was the UK Parliament’s business Net Zero is a Law imposed by a Conservative government So you keep saying The problem with that is those of us with longer memories recall a prick by tbe name of Tony Blair committing the UK to a green revolution. Here’s what he had to say in 2001 about his belief that eighty five per cent of the UK’s energy needs could come from solar power, in spite of the party being told the reality of insolation capture back in 1979 by research i was personally paid to be one of the scientists responsible for collecting the facts for them through the then Science, now Science and Engineering, Research Council funded departmental study. amp.theguardian.com/politics/2001/mar/07/uk.ethicallivingThose of similar memory spans will ALSO remember the outpouring of horror at Blair’s utter fuckup at one of the early COPs where he committed the UK to a path about twenty times more severe than his speech writers told him to commit us to by changing tbe words to make himself look good So while it may be the case that limp wristed ass holes who happen to stand under the insignia of a once properly Tory Party signed us up to the mantras of Saint Greta The Uneducated, which Fishy Rishi has since realised will cost him his comfy job and is now too late trying to back pedal from, the FACT is the person who PUT us in this shit is TONY BLAIR and his replacement today is hell bent on keeping on down that path.

And while digging around into Blair's murky past in committing us to net zero, I tripped over THIS from 2003
this was him binding us to EU energy targets in 2007
And HE FUCKING DID
And then he tried to say "he thought he was only signing us up to using 20% of our electric from renewables" which would have been bad enough but the gfacts are somewhat different.
I have always thought he deserved to die buy hanging
Now i think he should die by insertion into a combined heating and power firnace. Alive and screaming. Fuck i would PAY to watch that
and the prick is still pushing out this bullshit

It was losing £1 million/day. Think about that with your business hat on.

Think of it with your ‘we need to build weaponry capable of withstanding a battlefield’ hat on.
