He described the partnership as a “massive boost” for the city, while a colleague said it would make Manchester “more efficient”. He's just like Starmer, says one thing while doing another, I use to like Andy Burnham and thought he would make a good Labour leader, but over the years he's jumped on the woke snowflake virtue signalling bandwagon, I've noticed with these Mayor's like Burnham and Khan they must be on a bloody good screw.
Burnham just like Blair didn't have a pot to piss in when they joined the Labour party, Blair is worth well over £80 million, and Burnham around £5 million, how the fuck have they accumulated that amount of wealth (well Blair maybe with his backhanders for his illegal war in Iraq), but Burnham at best is on £110,000 a year (plus perks).

The Horizon System is still faulty according to this Sub Postmaster in Scotland.
A Scottish subpostmistress who faces losing her home and business says the Post Office is still pursuing her for shortfall payments from the Horizon software system.
Marlene Wood, 53, said that discrepancies with the Horizon IT system have become “part of my working week”, and she estimates she has lost £2,000 over the last four-and-a-half years due to the malfunctioning system.
As recently as last month, Mrs Wood received a letter, seen by The Independent, which asks her to resolve the discrepancy of £440.43 at her Comrie Crieff branch in Perthshire, Scotland. The letter sets out the various payment methods she can use.
Mrs Wood said that she has paid discrepancies out of her own pocket in the past, because the dispute system is “a whole lot of hassle and for not much benefit”.

I was against Vennells being made the subject of what might be described a witch hunt,after reading this she and others should go to trial for perverting the course of justice and whoever in govt was complicit should also be brought to justice. Who would want to be associated with any branch of the mail, they are going bust, stamps have gone through the roof, and now they are talking of a three day week delivery service, another private venture going bust that will be asking for huge bail out tax payer money.

Not long ago we had the Fujitsu spokesman blaming the post office it’s all like the usual roundabout of blame shifting,I think they hope we will all get bored with it so those at the top can quietly get on with their lives reap the undeserved rewards go on to head up some other fiasco be part time board members getting megabucks for a few hours a year whilst the plebs who were crapped on eventually die and any costs are heaped on the rest of the plebs. |
