A majority of people do not earn £40,000. Many are sat on their fat arses doing jack and expect the tax payers to fund their extravagant life style. If you'd have read the thread you would have realised that we were talking about working people, not unemployed. Do try to keep up if you want to join in. 🙄

Some people in the UK think that being employed is to pick up their dole money once a month. Especially our uninvited guests.

Lol. Yes I have. For those who have entered the UK legally to work are doing a fine job of it. But for everyone one of those we have 20 more who just come to the UK for the free ride.

For every fact there are 20 made up facts by Jonksy.
I think by even your own maths you must realise that isn't true, nor is it of relevance to a thread entitled "Legal Immigration - Work".

Yes it is probably more than 20. We only have legal immigration because our own lazy fuckers do not like getting their hands dirty. Read the first post of the thread..FFS

A majority of people do not earn £40,000. But they have recourse to benefits.

Actually most don't.

I beg to differ, most do in one size shape or form.

I beg to differ, most do in one size shape or form. Child Benefit is the only universal benefit, for those under 19. Working Tax Credit is being abolished and replaced by UC. Unless you have a disability, you are highly unlikely to qualify unless you are on part time work with children. (And remember the 2 child limit)

You're referring to, I think, the 'No Recourse to Public Funds' condition that most immigrants have attached to their visa.
You're also no doubt aware of the well-funded NRPF Network, homed at Islington Council, which assists claimants in obtaining benefits-type support from other sources, particularly social services of local authorities.
This is all going on despite immigrants voluntarily taking up visas with NRPF attached.
