I found it quite uplifting last night to see politicians, whether you agree with them or not, standing up for a principle accepting personal cost in so doing. I suspect many will be back in the Government after the next election. I find that encouraging. Are you talking about 'principled' Labour MP's who rebelled against Starmer because they represent pro Hamas Muslim constituencies and are worried about losing their seats. Imagine anyone posting 'politicians' and 'Principle' in the same sentence.

Slight digression; I listened to someone last night who said when Sunak is at the despatch box he has his opponents in front of him, and his enemies behind him.

Pro Hamas Muslim communities, are you having a laugh. Why would you even suggest that is possible, have we no security service that would know?

The security services say 90% of the 43,000 people on a terror watch list in this country are Muslims.

Do you think waging war in Muslim countries could have contributed to it. Claiming there are "Pro Hamas Muslim constituencies" in this country is just playing to the racists?

There you go: Labour - the official pro-Hamas party.
To the surprise of absolutely no one whatsoever.

I'm not sure these communities are so much pro Hamas supporters, I think they just have an abundance of Israelophobes both of Muslim background and the naive of non-Muslim background.

If you were to be correct for once, that would mean the Labour party would have been wiped out on the vote for a ceasefire in Gaza.

To the surprise of absolutely no one whatsoever. Muslim doesn't automatically = pro Hamas. I agree, many of the deluded aggressive lefties who demonstrate in support of Hamas appear to be non Muslims.
