You have to laugh when people deride other people for sticking to their principle. If only there were more like them in our politics. What, like Suella Braverman you mean? Braverman has no principles, given the policies she has tried to enact her treatment of the police and her willingness to 'share' our sensitive data with all and sundry. Her only aim is to be leader of the Tories. |

Move Israel to the US is a different thing. Antisemitism is no different to any other racism and should be treated the same, not as excuse to commit genocide. |

I found it quite uplifting last night to see politicians, whether you agree with them or not, standing up for a principle accepting personal cost in so doing. I suspect many will be back in the Government after the next election. I find that encouraging. Are you talking about 'principled' Labour MP's who rebelled against Starmer because they represent pro Hamas Muslim constituencies and are worried about losing their seats. |
