Yes the Israelis will seriously fight back at anyone who attacks them, this has apparently been the aim of Likud since they first tasted power in 1977. Before Likud Israel had 30 years of moderate Social Zionism, their reward for that were years of terrorism by suicide bombers and planted explosives, along with wars fighting against the Arab / Muslim attempts to eliminate Israel.

Well I can see you’re passionate in your view,nothing wrong with that as presented,anyway in reply to both you and Pacifico I am as passionate in my view,not in hatred for Jews and were the roles reversed I'd be arguing just as passionately

There is cause and effect which is why this happened and though it’s not a get out of jail free card for Hamas nor an excuse you cannot escape the fact that without the actions of certain Israeli politicians this,probably wouldn't have happened.

It’s for those very reasons I and others have been pointing out various facts,is there anyone would deny that it is a direct result of policy by the winning side in WW1 and treaties like Versailles that led to the rise of the Nazis,Hitler and holocaust and would they be objecting to that being pointed out and isn’t there a lesson to be learnt that hasn’t so far?

I can’t speak for others but can hazard a guess that none are Hamas apologists and I’ve not seen a single person doing so.

Finally there has been some speculation around my motives on this topic,my views are based on beliefs held and I’m here to speak those and not engage in argument for arguments sake,perhaps my saying I come here to exercise my mind has contributed to that but being an old duffer you can only keep your mind alive and working by using it.
