Utter trash, she was talking about the March for Palestine and its followers, not a bunch of hooligans. When the Police allowed them in to the Cenotaph they stood in silence like everyone else - meantime the Palestine marchers were desecrating other war memorials. The police did not ''allow'' them into the Cenotaph. They forced their way past police barriers.

300,000 peace protesters - 12 arrests. 1,000 counter protestors - 100 arrests.
It's clear which side was there to break the law.

It's clear to which side the law was intended to be applied.

It's clear to which side the law was intended to be applied. They have been shuting down actual free-speech in this country for years, because it's easier to police the innocent.

They shouldn’t have held this today but having said that he had his placard snatched and some got aggressive whilst others and you can hear them stood in front and said leave hm alone. Both you and Pacifico have vivid imaginations,he wasn’t beaten up.

They physically attacked him, which is an act of violence. They did this because they're Hamas supporters who took offence to the truth. I understand why you would want to defend them, but that man had every right to hold that placard. The police would normally use their powers to arrest the one in the right, and they do this because the savages turn violent in the face of actual free-speech.

I’m defending no one but observing the facts and yes he does have the right to hold that placard and I unlike you accept that because were the position reversed we’d hear a different story as we do when anyone on here disagrees with you.

It's not like you to deny what is plain as the nose on your face.

Well in fairness it would appear that the march passed of peacefully, aside from the inevitable pro-Hamas/anti-Semitic incidents. But I dare say that the Met will deal with those in slow time.
Of course, the EDL couldn't resist behaving like twats and getting themselves nicked, but that's only to be expected. And of course their brainless antics will receive far more media attention than the aforementioned pro-Hamas/anti-Semitic incidents, but that's only to be expected too.
By and large it could have been worse.
