Please, your hole just keeps getting deeper. You responded to my post that mentioned the word "violence" and claimed it wasn't, which highlighted your ignorance over the Engish language or intentional misinterpretation. I responded to Pacifico's post which never mentioned the word "beaten". This is what Pacifico said: "We keep getting told by that these marches are not in support of Hamas - yet the one guy who turned up with an anti Hamas placard gets attacked.. " Did he post a quote that the guy was beaten up? Thatll be yes,my understanding of the English language is fine. I posted around what had actually happened, you might note I said the march shouldn’t have taken place and that he had every right to hold his placard he was however not beaten up and Pacificos post was misleading in that respect wasn’t it? Well he was subject to Common Assault by beating. That's the wording of the law. Just saying.

Yes, but he was assaulted and his right to protest was interfered with by a pro Hamas element.

Yes, but he was assaulted and his right to protest was interfered with by a pro Hamas element. And as I posted none of the protests should’ve have happened yesterday which is a day for remembrance established over a century ago. They could’ve left it for another day, personally speaking it’s not our fight is it and it will probably go on for generations as it already has where two opposing beliefs embedded in the Stone Age continue and the nutters wish to eradicate those who believe in the same god but with a different belief system. As I said at the outset for us the Palestine mandate was a poisoned chalice and yet our political masters continue their interference a la Blair and Cameron. The people of the Middle East need to sort themselves out in their own time,we shouldn’t try to impose our values as they’ve tried by war and promoting an Arab spring and we shouldn’t be allowing their values imposed on us either,

So why do you think I imagined the guy was beaten up when I never said he was in the first place? A rather bizarre way to carry on. I’ll let you carry on claiming I am a liar when I did not, have a nice day. You did, and even attempted to apply your BS to me. Telling lies when people highlight the fact that we have Hamas supporters violently attacking people who don't support Hamas on the streets of the UK is pretty odd, but I can understand your reasons. It just means nothing you say can be taken seriously.

300,000 peace protesters - 12 arrests. 1,000 counter protestors - 100 arrests. It's clear which side was there to break the law. Going by the the flags and placards there were very very few people marching for peace. I did see one home made sign held in front of the carrier that read I march for peace. The most numerous placards read Free Palestine or freedom for Palestine. Going on the history of the area these signs meant the eradication of Israel. One major sign read 'stop the genocide'. There is no genocide. Another major (i.e. major by size) sign read 'Zionism is the Problem'. i.e. the existence of Israel is the problem. I did not see one sign calling for Peace between Arabs and Israelis.

They're clearly Hamas marches, which the odious far-left not only support, but are also actively attacking those who don't with lies, abuse and all the sinister tools of fascism.

Freedom for Palestine is a legitimate thing to call for and it is wholly wrong to assume this equates to the eradication of Israel. No doubt there are some extremists who do mean exactly that but there will be many others who simply mean an end to the occupations, land thefts and blockades. Leaving the rights or wrongs of that aside, it is a not unreasonable thing for people to express a public opinion on via protest.

They're clearly Hamas marches, which the odious far-left not only support, but are also actively attacking those who don't with lies, abuse and all the sinister tools of fascism. They are not "clearly" anything of the kind. What they clearly are are marches in support of the oppressed Palestinians, and in support of peace. They are inherently one sided of course because none of them seem to be acknowledging the atrocities committed by Hamas, but demonstrations of this kind do tend to be one sided. And as with all large marches of any kind, a minority of extremists and potential trouble makers will always turn up, in this case actual Hamas supporters most likely. But it is wrong to assume that all those present will be supporters of Hamas because a few such supporters have turned up. You can never get any kind of mass demonstration about anything without a few extremists showing up. We all know that if there is ever any kind of demonstration in support of any left leaning cause, a minority of anarchists and revolutionary socialists can be certain to show up. Likewise, if there is ever any kind of demonstration or march in favour of right wing causes, you can be certain that a few BNP type far right nutters will show up. But in all such cases it is wrong to tar the entire protest with the same brush. And it is notable that whilst the mass march went of relatively peacefully - to the obvious disappointment of those here gleefully expecting a punch up - and never tried to get anywhere near the cenotaph, a much smaller number of far right prats led by that convicted racist thug Tommy Robinson, did try to get there and launched violent attacks on the police who were there to prevent this. Thus the only threat to the cenotaph that day came from far right thugs, who caused far more trouble than the mass of pro-Palestine marchers. Most of which was utterly predictable to those of us who never seek to be fellow travellers of the far right when it suits.

Yes, but he was assaulted and his right to protest was interfered with by a pro Hamas element. There was always going to be a pro-Hamas element in the march. Unfortunately, with any mass march, extremists will latch on and join in. There is never a mass left leaning march without a few trots, commies, revolutionaries, and anarchists showing up. And there is never a right leaning protest march without a few BNP types showing up, Just par for the course really because in a free country it is virtually impossible for the organisers of any protest to prevent any particular person or group from showing up, however unsavoury.

Jew hatred, anti-semitism, violent attacks from the Hamas marchers toward the police and anti-Hamas individuals is documented. As for far-right thugs there's nothing far-right about them. They're not even political and have no political party or political ideology, which is why they're labelled "football hooligans".

My post was based upon the history between the Arabs and the Israelis. Your post claiming the banners are just about freedom for the occupied territories doesn't ring true for me. 'From the river to the sea' is an Arab movement started in the 1960s calling for the destruction of Israel, it still carries the same meaning today. The majority of Palestinian Arabs have never to my Knowledge, helped the Jews to live in peace in Israel. I don't believe the level of violence taking place today would have evolved to this point if the Palestinian Arabs (or the Arab world) had been pushing for peace between them and the Israelis after losing the first war to destroy Israel. IMO the lack of reaction by the Palestinian Arabs and the Arab world to the massacre of 7/10, does if anything back up the belief that the Arabs have and have always had, hatred for the Jews.

The claim is pretty well made up by the media. The entire ritual was extensively filmed. People stood in silence as expected. There was one minor scuffle on the way in seemingly caused by a misunderstanding.
