Tony Blair's mantra was education, education, education which meant everyone went off to university. We now have loads of architects which can work out the stresses and strains on a concrete beam. However, we have very few Brits who know one end of a shovel from the other. How clever is that? In fact this whole fiasco is down to the architects. They are the ones who design the buildings and specify which materials are to be used in their construction. |
