Off you go with your usual attempt to discredit posters. I was going to say nowt unless you reacted as you normally do,didn’t have to wait long,you’ve accused Jonksy of being a liar and set on others too. So many posters have said the same about you and another place so therefore it stands that they’re not all lying about you and how you behave. I’ve posted before that this issue was known for decades,read this from the guardian that displays the thirty year issue was known long before Blair took office. So you can't back up your '30 year issue was known long before Blair left office' which was the actual challenge then. No surprise there nor that you'd waste 5 paragraphs trying to hide that. But thanks for finally responding to it. Your Guardian clip says SOME suspected a 30 year life limit in 1996, my Times link says not authoritatively known until October 2007. Both of us have a rational basis for our belief. As it happens the Guardian is referring to a BRE information paper from 1995 (when Major was in power) which was apparently contradicted by other BRE reports and reviewed by SCOSS (The Standing Committee on Structural Safety) who then made their assessment that did not endorse that 30 year life recommending only enhanced inspections - which Blair acted on. |
