If you are going to boot MP's out of Parliament for lack of attendance then you cannot make special rules for MP's of a particular party. There is only one class of MP - and they all need to follow the same rules. no one is trying to. Another diversion.
Im asking why there isnt a rule in place to get rid of someone not doing her job.
You brought the sinn fein mps into the equation as though this party representing a country that doesnt want englands rule , and takes steps to de ligitimise englands rule by not attending englands parliament , is somehow comparable to the petulant self interested fit of pique guiding nadine dorries from showing up.
Im simply saying while a basic rule of showing up to do your job should have been in place centuries ago , the sinn fein mps might be a bit harder to deal with using that rule.
while we have people like margaret ferrier doing stupid things ,or even the sinn fein mps and their non attendance , you can always rely on englands tory party to upstage that stupidity ten times over.

MP's are there to represent everyone in their constituency, whether they voted for them or not. There are thousands of people who did not vote SF and have been deprived of representation. It is exactly the same thing. Well, I guess in that case Dorries has represented the people who didn't vote for this government by not voting with them. Not sure if your point is that helpful. |

It could also deal with the sinn fein mps , and we could all sit and laugh while you have to spend millions constantly holding by elections in areas like west tyrone as nationalists continuously vote in sinn fein mps on a no platform stance for your parliament.

Sinn fein are making a political point of no standing in another countries parliament as they dont accept english rule.
We dont want to hear any more of your excuses mr tory , and get a rule sorted out to deal with people who wont do their job.

That sounds like the ideal Scottish Nationalist policy - waste hundreds of thousands pounds and not achieve anything. personally I'd rather you stuck to screwing up Scotland and left the rest of us alone..  |

Others like yourself though cant bear to bring yourself to criticise tories like nadine dorries , and engage in every bit of whataboutery your fevered imagination can bring to the thread to deflect , even when you know deep down what she is doing is morally indefensible.
I suppose it just goes to show how we are two morally different people , and why we are often on the opposite side of the universe in political debate.

the tory philosophy of taking something for nothing is only to be expected in mad nad ............but the sinn fein mps and voters must have seen you and your party coming. £12 billion per annum to keep 6 counties that dot want to be part of your country , and is half way out the door already , with irish unity in sight?
