About bloody time he kicked the JSO fuckwits into touch
Of course he’s only doing it because he knows the green agenda has been rumbled but it is a start. Sadly his replacement will of course reverse it so they need to have things explained on the doorsteps.
I’d put a link but the BBC page showing the story is tbe breaking news / rolling news page so in ten minutes it will change to their more usual sob story fodder
Is there any chance the JSO head arsehole will get so worked up he’ll have a cardiac event and the ambulance not get to him in time thanks to his own protestors gridlocking roads in fury ? I admit if that happenned i might have to give serious consideration to turning my back on agnosticism ….

JSO misfits of society, you only have to look at the crackpots, and the worse culprits are the bloody old daft retired Civil Servants, eccentric old teachers and GPs, if you confiscated their passports they'd have a meltdown, how would they jet set across the world to Australia to see their loved ones, that's why most of the old fools are protesting, most of them are lonely bored retired idiots, getting a bit of company and attention.

No one is falling for the green stealth taxes any more, we may as well stick the money down a grid, what have we got to show for all those green taxes on our bills ....... absolutely nothing.

Woohoo, common sense prevails... Hundreds of new North Sea oil and gas licences to boost British energy independence and grow the economy. • Prime Minister commits to future oil and gas licensing rounds, as new analysis shows domestic gas production has around one-quarter the carbon footprint of imported liquified natural gas. • North East Scotland and the Humber chosen as locations for two new carbon capture usage and storage clusters – building a thriving clean industry in the North Sea which could support up to 50,000 jobs. • Investment in the North Sea will continue to unlock new projects, protect jobs, reduce emissions and boost UK energy independence. link

Sturgeon would have stopped it, pinching her oil, it's the oil that's going to pay for their Independence dream, in fact wasn't the oil going to pay for everything in Scotland ... talking of which has she been charged yet?

Hell, even Kid Starver's cottoning on, although he probably lacks the cojones to actually commit to a policy.

It needs to be made conditional on the Snazis recognising that it's a UK initiative and that the UK will retain control. And make them understand that the Scottish jobs thus created are dependent on that agreement else the plug gets pulled.

Indeed, and as the election gets closer both Labour and the Tories will back peddle on net zero because they know it's not a vote winner.

The SNP want to outdo the government by 'achieving' (lol) net zero by 2045. Which means 25,000 well paid oil industry jobs in Scotland would be lost.

I would imagine some deal has already been struck, otherwise the SNP would be kicking up a fuss, let's hope getting shut of that little EU arse licking dictator Sturgeon, Scotland might start functioning.

I think the SNP have had their day, they have lost a lot of support over Sturgeon her husband and the other thieves, when the people of Scotland find out the true scale of the corruption the SNP will never reach it's dizzy heights again, as it did under Sturgeon.

Well on the face of it its good news but all the while Sunak and Hunt are milking the industry with 75% tax on profits I dont see anything actually getting built. Also come next year there is a very good chance that Labour will be in charge and they have already said they want to increase tax rates on oil producers.
So given that investment is being cut back on existing projects due to the taxation issue I doubt any company is going to make any significant investment in these new licences.

You're probably right, Sturgeon and her co defendant husband (lol) have all but killed off the SNP. Although inevitably there will always be a hardcore of anti English nationalists who will support them.

I don't understand why small modular reactors (SMR's) are proving to be so difficult to get off the ground. Apparently Rolls Royce say they are ready to start building once the government give them the go ahead, but this morning on GB News economist Liam Halligan said energy secretary Grant Shapps has delayed making a decision until 2029!
