There's lots of the same stuff said, but any threads I start are always about a new aspect.
However I agree that they shouldn't be in the mind zone.

Can you imagine what they would be like with no moderation? The mind zone needs renaming to the decency thread. Its funny that despite the overwhelming opinion that the forum should be so lightly moderated, its the one thread that's moderated that attracts conversation. Seems less people that thought are interested in just shouting abuse and swearing. Or is it as I proposed, the ones wishing to just swear and insult have run out of material provided by those who want actual debate, and are now forced to come to the mind zone looking for fuel. |

It was nothing to do with how the government wished how they could control the electorate via so called Parliamentary democracy, but how the majority of voters wanted them acting on their behalf for once. Which Farage made a huge mistake telling people they would. Which has created your view that somehow you can change that. Where you can centralise power in Brussels and all will be well. |

Your own parliament governs the uk under the rule that no past parliament can bind a current parliament. At any election , the new government can undo what the previous government did mate.
Starmer if he wins can take the uk back into the eu in part or fully , whatever he likes under parliament rules. He wont even need another referendum to do it. If he thinks he will win hands down he might though offer another referendum , but knowing starmer and how cowardly he and his party are , i doubt it.
