The arrest looks more like a formality to appease the audience than a serious investigation. Why else would they have delayed it for so long? It's a dirty regime up there.

According to the BBC she had an appointment to attend the Police Station today which is not unusual, where she was arrested and will now be interviewed under caution. Well yes, but that's just the police being polite. She was invited to attend the police station where she was formally arrested. Had she refused to attend the police station she would have been arrested at her home and taken to the police station, kicking and screaming if necessary. In a nutshell yes, as this is a Fraud Investigation it could take a long time to complete weeks or possibly months, it depends what she said when interviewed if anything.

According to her, despite being under caution and supposedly expected to be silent, she is innocent of any wrong doing, completely sure that she knows nothing about anything and looks forward to it all being shown as a mistake.
The horrid wee pikey horse thief seriously expects us to believe that, but wait a moment, quite a few do believe it. Amazing.
Kier Starmer is rubbing his hands.

Even if arrested , you considered innocent in Law even if charged you are still deemed innocent all the way through until you later either plead guilty or are found guilty in Court.
From the moment you are arrested and cautioned and taken into custody, you do not have to say anything from that moment on , even when interviewed it is your choice if you wish to answer any question or not or remain silent.

And how far does the dirt go up? Do the SNP have influence in the Police, judiciary, courts and procurator fiscal's office? I don't know, of course, but I hope that there are still fair and level minds up there that are prepared to do their jobs without fear or favour.

I doubt Scotland's law and politics is any better or worse than found in England and Wales...

Just a little more info, this Police Operation into the finical affairs of the SNP has been running since 2019, much of which is focused on Sturgeons husband and a £600 grand loan which has not been fully paid back to date

The SNP have sent a bunch of flowers to Nicola Sturgeon to offer support for all she is going through at the moment.
What a nice thought, I wonder if they will be sending a bunch of flowers to all their supporters who sent in money only to have it stolen by a person or persons unknown. I thought not. These people give pikeys a bad name, they really do.

Going by om15's last post I'd say it goes all the way to the top of Scottish power, and I'm not talking windmills here. I have no doubt it will be blamed on the English as part of some Westminster plot to make the SNP look bad. It's the sort of shameless bigoted politics I'd expect, and I don't think the SNP will let me down.

He says within days of the former PM being found to have lied to Parliament. Was he? I thought it was reckless misleading or something similar. If that is the sum total of Johnson's misdemeanours then 600,000 unaccounted for I suppose is small fry to you but apparently it is not far off an amount that could purchase a referendum according to some. The point about being a leader is that the buck stops there and 'nothing to do with me guv' does not really cut it.

That's why Johnson should have put his hands up when he was caught partying while the rest of the country was on lockdown. As you say, the buck stopped with him.
