She has been released without charge, just like Murrell, pending further investigation. Indeed Ripley, but the fact remains £600,000 is still missing and the three people responsible have no idea where it went, lol.

I found £400 in a rucksack pocket once that I'd forgotten about. Easily done.

But with the best will in the world, £600,000 is a lot to find down the back of a sofa.

I have every confidence the truth will out in the end.

Is it, in fact, missing, or have they just not yet managed to account for where it was spent? It was possibly diverted to a legal purpose. It can't be called misappropriation until it's known exactly where the funds went, and this is a question I think Peter Murrell should have been able to answer. And we don't know that the three people responsible don't know where it went. We don't know what they told the police.

The police have been searching for this cash for how many months? And they are suitably confident to arrest the three leading protagonists. As Marcellus famously said: Something is rotten in the state of Scotland.

If they were confident that a crime has taken place, I think the police would have charged one of them by now, don't you? It must be possible to trace the £££. They had auditors.

I reckon the Butler did it in the drawing room with a lead pipe.

According to the BBC she had an appointment to attend the Police Station today which is not unusual, where she was arrested and will now be interviewed under caution. Well yes, but that's just the police being polite. She was invited to attend the police station where she was formally arrested. Had she refused to attend the police station she would have been arrested at her home and taken to the police station, kicking and screaming if necessary. Tom Jones has a lot to answer for.
