The Conservative Party is about to go into a civil war, and all over the European Union ( some things never change )
Rishi Sunak was losing control of an increasingly anarchic Tory party on Saturday as former cabinet ministers openly criticised the direction of policy under his leadership and dozens of backbench MPs plotted a new rebellion over Brexit.
Amid recriminations over the heavy Conservative losses in recent council elections, and with pro-Brexit MPs incensed that Sunak’s government is dropping plans to shred more than 4,000 EU laws within months, discipline was at risk of completely disintegrating on the right of the party.

After Slimy Sunak no one will care if he like a drink with his mates at Christmas. So Bojo can get on with keeping us out of Europe, waving his hands in the air and bonking everything in sight while the Mogg stays in the background and runs the country. |

After Slimy Sunak no one will care if he like a drink with his mates at Christmas. So Bojo can get on with keeping us out of Europe, waving his hands in the air and bonking everything in sight while the Mogg stays in the background and runs the country. If the best hope for the Tories is bringing back Boris with Mogg in real control then they truly are in trouble, lol |

Labour couldn't run a whelk stall let alone a country. And that assumes that they could even get elected and frankly I can't see that even more wokery and votes for foreigners are going to be popular with the electorate.

Mostly because they are an alternative bunch of Tories. Most true Labour people have left. But they cannot possibly be any worse than the Tories have proven to be lately. The Tories clearly need to be in opposition to have some time to sort themselves out, relieved of the burden of doing so they can spend some fruitful time listening. I don't think even Starmer's lot could be anything other than an improvement on the current shower of shit, even if it is only an improvement in the sense that being shot in the leg is an improvement on being shot in the head. lol |
