Do you not see the problem with setting your position of being "the adults in the room" then showing a complete lack of leadership when somebody in your team does the exact same thing you complained about? ie when Starmer rightly called Boris out for a "personal slur" on him regarding Saville. I highly doubt Starmer was aware of this poster, but he has to call it or he just provides free ammo to the Tories. The Tories are going to spin this as racist. All Starmer has to do to walk this next election is hold the Tories to account without resorting to lies, and then set a positive vision for how he will run the country. Remember, he has to win floating voters over if he wants a good majority. If the electorate is faced with a choice of voting for a shit show Tory party, or a shit show Labour party... they are not going to bother voting. Leadership might be your reason for being here, it isn't mine. The problem has been made very very clear, fighting fire with fire on a forum full of nasty insinuating posters is the problem. It seems fair to me. I have pointed out quite a few times in the past where a poster has used the truth as a basis for insinuating a lie. Just look at the insinuated lies that claim Starmer defended Jimmy Saville. The problem is the electorate, they have proved many times that they DO swallow this sort of nonsense. The electorate will make their own mind up on who or what they vote for, if the electorate were not so naïve and so easily led the country would not have been in the mess it has mostly been in for the last 70 years. Well this is true - if the electorate were not so easily led they might not have believed the bullshit from Blair and Campbell about WND's in Iraq and not started an illegal war. |

This is beyond unbelievable. It's alright when the Tories attack Labour, "they want to let them all in", "Starmer failed to prosecute Savile", "they are on the side of criminals'"...... but when Labour use the same tactics they become hysterical and accuse Labour of stooping into the gutter. The Tories live, exist and operate in the gutter, if you need to fight them get in the gutter. 🤣 Well that says it all the Westminster party are all in the gutter and Reds answer is get in the gutter with them. There's nothing wrong with fighting fire with fire, even when that fire is in the gutter. The problem is the Tory propaganda machine is so highly polished and well established in the area of throwing insults, insinuations and denigration, so much so that its followers believe whatever is put their way.
