Been done many times already. We don't all live under a rock like you - some of us speak from real-life experience.

Been done many times already. We don't all live under a rock like you - some of us speak from real-life experience. Most of us speak from life experience. And as a working class person living on a working class estate I probably see far more people down on their luck than you ever do. Yet I manage to see clearly without my view being distorted through the prism of small-minded hate.

The other thing about raising pension age is that women will get the pension at the same age as men in the relatively near future. The pension age has been equalised a few years ago. It is currently rising to reach towards 67, and then 68. You're a bit behind the times.

Well I can only wish you get the experience of losing your job or getting an illness and and having to claim welfare one day. Then along with that you could have experience of losing your home and relying on charity for your meals while you find out what a real life experience that is.

What a nasty person you are. Fortunately, due to careful planning and hard work, most of that can't happen to me.

What a nasty person you are. Fortunately, due to careful planning and hard work, most of that can't happen to me. Maybe not. The Turkeys voting for Xmas are nearer than you think “For those looking forward to the prospect of retiring, news that a think tank has recommended some Brits should lose their state pension will not be welcome. According to a report, as many as one in four people should lose their eligibility for the Government paid benefit. However, before panic sets in, it should be noted that the centre-right Adam Smith Institute (ASI) said retirees with assets worth more than £1million should no longer be entitled to the benefit. Birmingham Live reported on the analysis, in which it says the Intergenerational Foundation claimed that one in four pensioners were millionaires if the value of their property and pensions were taken into account. Now, the influential think tank has argued these people do not need to access a state pension.” www.nottinghampost.com/news/cost-of-living/think-tank-makes-recommendation-would-7977814
