You don’t seem open minded . You seem to believe everything that Chinese funded videos and CCP propaganda wants you to believe . Maybe I just give the wrong impression. Some things I have verified and some not. The story of the F35 is not one I heard elsewhere, but I put it up out of interest. I welcome those who find fault in things as it helps me with my own accuracy. There's always the odd thing you believed for years but someone told it to you who was wrong. Wiki is my best guide. I'm finding it great fro biochemisty issues as it carries references to the latest science. In 1967 my French teacher told the class that his daughter had informed him that a device called a Neutron bomb existed. This nuclear device had a low energy yield but a high radiation yield . It could be used to kill people while keeping damage to infrastructure to the minimum . I told my older brother( my fathers favourite ) when I got home. He told me it was rubbish but it was , of course , true. A few years earlier the same brother told my father that there was a large bird called a Chipolata and my father believed him. That , of course , was false . My father was no fool and used to tell us to believe nothing that you hear and only half of what you see but he believed his favourite son because he wanted to. |

Nope. The alternative is not to believe what you want to believe. Be sceptical. Well I'm kind of open minded until I have independent verification. I think it is bad form to go around suspecting everyone is a liar. It depends on the circles you mix with. Like for example engineers are very down to earth and practical and never like to hype anything. Scientists are similar traditionally, as per your classic gentleman's club, but have been nobbled in some fields these days which is a shame. As for British politics though, unfortunately I think your position is the right one to take. I generally know if someone is lying to me and in this domain it is on the 'more than likely' region of the honesty spectrum. Americans can be very dishonest as well. American business especially so.
By the way, that guy who runs that mega corporation who have them ready for the market started life as a rural peasant. What an amazing guy. Some Chinese have just got genius brains, even if they are peasant farmers. I guess it is a genetic thing.

Indeed and with all due respect you remind me of a person who claims ‘ you can’t get better than a quick fit fitter ‘because he saw it on a YouTube video and read it on a quick fit sponsored forum . The alternative is listening to the world service where every tiny bit is designed by brainwashers, and they ship them in from the US all night long.
I'm not saying Wave Media is the most fantastic of things, but I just hear stories from it once in a while and balance that out with other things. I get bored of the same channel and the same message drummed in. A lot work in a loop as their brains are not that large, so it might appear interesting to start with, but as you go around the loop you really want to get the hell out of it. Maybe I should get back to my maths studying.
The videos in the op though are great. That guy is such a propeller head. You'll see - in ten years time he will be a multimillionaire owner of a EV flying firm.

It's a great illustration of the kind of country China is. The Chinese have been totally sold on the idea.

They play a fair game though. The thing that really pisses me off is when someone is trying to brainwash you. Academies over thee though have more the feel of a university environment. You're allowed to be a bit more free thinking as long as you love President Xi. It's not exactly unusual for people from the UK to go and campaign in US elections - Nigel Farage is doing the same this year. Remember that it is only foreign interference in an election when Russia do it, allegedly via bots on social media. 100 Labour activists from a foreign country doesn't count at all. It's one of those 'made by Chinese for Chinese' type things. It takes a bit to adjust to the way they think, but you will find they do like their proof and their references and calculations. Many pensioners who were entitled to Pension Credits, have now applied for it, meaning that not only will they get a top up to their pension EVERY MONTH but they will also get the WFA. Yes I know what you mean, but this is a channel I recommend because it is very succinct. The whole report is merely some 3m long. I do care for people's time and will not post long drawn out and inaccurate videos. I have my personal standards here. A BvL approved vid is always a goodun. lol. |

Ok do your source that claimed F35s were falling out of the skies ( despite no evidence from Western news media ) due to lack of Chinese parts is Chinese news channel . lol. Well it would be easier if you watched it, but anyway, what the source says is first they claimed they did not use Chinese parts and two self destructed, then it got out that they did use Chinese parts, as in they were lying before, so this led to a stern order from Uncle Sam to rid every Chinese part from the machine, and now we have a figure of 7 self destructing. It is claimed more went wrong after they substituted the parts than before! And yes, the fault is of the kind where it can be happily cruising along minding its own business in fair weather and every instrument saying everything is cool and then suddenly whack, the whole plane shuts down. No power would mean every instrument went blank and as there is no engine cooling (this is electrically powered) so the engine will then blow up. The pilot was saved by an ejector seat made in Blighty. Actually I've been to the very factory they are made and seen them do a demo. The firm is called Marin Baker.
