Don’t know about Cambridge but some Cambridgeshire roads can take the exhaust off your car if your not careful with a negative camber that’s can cause the unwary to drive into a ditch .
I thought Norfolk roads were bad ……

I’m not making a case . I’m pointing out a fact. There is too much talk about me and not about the subject of the thread. I see it as simply lack of knowledge on building flying electric cars.
The thing is, on the matter of what is fact and what is opinion, the traditional way to decide is not through the study of semantics. It is to get into your garage and start building a prototype. These days there is a new technology called 3D printing. It is possible to print in a metal alloy, but the cost of the powder is extremely expensive at the moment. Hopefully in the future it will be almost as cheap as printing in plastic. If we could do that you could probably manage quite easily as you could print most of it. Motors and batteries are very cheap these days.
You are the one who deviate from building flying cars to claiming F35s were falling out of the sky due to lack of Chinese parts and was happy to carry on ‘ debating ‘ that and other things until now. All you had to do is not do that and the thread would never have deviated. |

I’m not hung up on facts. You just seem to be unable to differentiate between your opinion and facts . I’m merely pointing that fact out . I just think you are using words to make your case rather than anything in particular I have done. I put the video up because i like the guy's attitude. He has a lot of ambition and I support those who do.
By the way, i sussed out the original one i had seen that has the longer range is known as the Xpeng 2. It's the Xpeng 1's bigger brother. I think it is about $200k. I sooo much want one though.

If you took opinion as fact without judgement then you would be accepting opinion as fact . Facts as you call them are often misused. I see the trickery being played with facts. If you only stuck to the facts then you would be incredibly stupid. Knowledge is far more than what can be encompassed by a fact.

I won’t get very far deciding your opinion is fact. I’ll only go as far as your opinion ..which is not fact. Opinion to judge opinion.
Anyway, I'm just trying to describe things as I see them. The culture is starting to make some sense to me, but it's not something you can pick up very easily. I'm sure if I lived in China I would learn faster, but we Brits are not at liberty to just go over there and live there. They are clamping down on the work visas a lot now. Min conditions would be roughly something like you have a large sum of money, you are married to a Chinese national and you can speak fluent Chinese and have a clean record, impressive CV and so on. I do respect them for it though. Britain seems to let in any old riffraff and we suffer greatly because of it.

It’s an opinion that you have posted as fact. It won't get you very far simply by deciding what is opinion and what is fact. We are entering the territory of hyperbole. To me it is all information and each piece of information has a certain reliability factor to it. If you ever try and wear the boots of the master fact checker then you will end up looking as daft as when the BBC decided they were the master of fact checkers. No, I found a channel or two which I think were put together by people who work for the firm. I can not imagine how they would know the intricate details of what goes on there if they did not. It was useful as you could pick up some understanding other than what the video was attempting to tell you. A lot of my understanding of life comes from incidental information people give away as they try and explain something else. It's a skill I have practiced for a very long time. You always had your dodgy market stalls and no one really gave a shit. London was especially known for it, but it was at your poor end of society. You buy cheap and take your chances. Meanwhile it is a different story right at the top of the company stack with major firms like Huawei. They own a ton of 5G patents, but they don't charge a royalty for their use. There's a saying in the Chinese corporate sector of the "patent troll". A corporation looks bad if it cashes in on all its patents. You were talking about face a while back. I think this is an example. China does not like the whole idea of patents. Huawei collect them for the purpose of allowing them to use the tech so no one else can bar it from it, not to make a profit. Profit in China comes from being seen as a nice firm.
