Why NOW? Are you saying that the new Chinese EVs have a longer range than ICE cars , are more reliable than a non turbo manual ICE car and retain a long range during winter even when using a heater and summer when using air conditioning? Because Iirc you never explained anything , just posted bullshit . Yes pribsbly better not to go through that again then l. Yes well you read the tabloids and list all these supposed problems. EVs are already a success and the industry is booming, but just not in the UK.
I don’t need to read the tabloids to list all the obvious problems whereas you need to dig up a YouTube video instead of actually posting your own ideas. You can’t support your own bullshit can you ? So where’s is this Chinese EV that has a longer range than ICE cars and is more reliable than a non turbo ,manual ICE car ? You can’t because it doesn’t exist ..all you have is bullshit and dodgy videos .

How are EVs a better buy now than ICE cars? They are simpler and cheaper, and better performance. I have already explained all of this so if you can't remember then I can't be bothered to go through it all again.

This is all about net zero nuts wanting to save the world by ruining our economy . It’s an ideological pipe dream with others footing the bill. Correct which is why, in a perverse sort of a way, this government may be a good thing. I mean, after five years of net zero madness from Starmer and Milliband I think even clueless lefties may have had enough. I fear this government is going to lead us down ideological cul de sacs that we can’t get out of . I suspect that the more that they realise that they have failed to sell their bullshit to the electorate, the more bridges they will burn.

WTF. If Trump cancels Americas move to renewables then Climate change continues to worsen and we pick up the bill for the damage in this country. That you are unable to recognise the cost of doing nothing speaks volumes about your bias. Is this you admitting that it doesn't matter what the UK does - our whole (very expensive) dash to net zero might be pointless. We could spend the extra £40 Billion a year that Miliband wants and it will still not make any difference at all. This the reality that net zero zealots are impervious to.

Oh please ! Trumpdidit is the new Brexitdidit now. Trump or no Trump we will be paying it anyway …and the net zero zealots want us to pay billions to reduce the CO2 output by 1% as well. WTF. If Trump cancels Americas move to renewables then Climate change continues to worsen and we pick up the bill for the damage in this country. That you are unable to recognise the cost of doing nothing speaks volumes about your bias. The penny still seems to have failed to drop that we are going to pick up that bill anyway . Net zero zealots like you want to do both that and spend hundreds of billions of pounds to rapidly change our energy source as well . All to make 1% diffence ffs. Its idiotic . It’s cultish , it’s naive. Yes we should become net zero but slower .

No. I’m saying that the loss of farmland should not be written off as irrelevant or unimportant. The rest of your post is accusations made up in your head because I’ve never suggested it. Yes, ofcourse I made it up, just as you made up the crap about my thinking. I was just pointing out to you that its not nice. I certainly am not writing off farmland as unimportant. I put a deal of thought into the process, hence my knowledge of where Solar farms are allowed to be placed, my knowledge of fallow land. My desire to help farmers by letting them build on land that doesn't do well for crops. British farmers have to compete on a world market, so if they cannot get a return on the cost of growing a crop on a piece of land, it sits fallow. Its no good them going to the supermarkets and saying my veg is more expensive because the land I grow it on is poor and difficult to manage. The supermarket will just buy their veg from France. What crap did I make up about your thinking ? How did that justify you making but a series of false claims about me ? You don’t have knowledge about solar farms being sited on fallow land because they are not being sited on fallow land . I have already pointed this out once . Your idea of ‘ helping ‘ farmers is to peddle a rather stupid idea that houses should be built of patches of land around farms and peddle a lie that solar farms are built on land that produces poor crop yields.

It's not just Guardian journalists who are upset, I'm sure lots of women are as well, especially when Trump's friend Nick Fuentes posted this on twitter a couple of days ago: “Hey bitch, we control your bodies. Guess what? Guys win again, men win again, and yes, we control your bodies.” Well, it's true. Men now also control women's safe spaces, sports and services if they so decide to dress up as a woman. Sorry, but a Guardianista whinging about the rights of women in another country isn't that convincing seeing as they've made greater effort to run roughshod over women's rights in this country. Indeed. Dave the scaffolder can not only invade womens safe spaces and join the women’s swimming team , he can also speak as a woman on womens matters . Be transphobic to say otherwise eh?

So loads of US lefties who pretend to love America run away when the US people elect a leader they don’t like? I mean it’s not as if they could stay in the US and fight to get a Democrat elected next time is it ?

But you were the one who claimed that as were not sufficient in any number of essential items then one more wouldn’t matter because we could buy it from abroad . So why farm at all? We could just import it . It's remarkable how these types worried about British farming during Brexit negotiations, but now are happy to see inheritance tax placed on farmers and their land used for a virtue signalling gimmick. Because they are driven by ideology and virtue signalling ,not rationality.

But you were the one who claimed that as were not sufficient in any number of essential items then one more wouldn’t matter because we could buy it from abroad . So why farm at all? We could just import it . Because the more we make ourselves the less we import. I was arguing that we were already not self sufficient and using 1% more land to give young people somewhere to live would have virtually no effect on that. You are arguing that young people shouldn't have decent lives so you can buy 1% more food from England. But I'll bet you don't even think about where your cucumber was grown. You just don't want more houses for the young so you can keep the nice high price your home which you bought far cheaper is now worth. No. I’m saying that the loss of farmland should not be written off as irrelevant or unimportant. The rest of your post is accusations made up in your head because I’ve never suggested it.
