I’ll bite.
The democrats suffered for a bunch of reasons, all were well within their ability to manage better.
In no particular order:
1) Americans have a negative view of how Biden handled the economy, and that people are poorer under Biden than they were Trump.
2) The Biden/Harris has had a very soft foreign policy - it’s been neither isolationist, and its support for Ukraine has been tacit and more like that of a meek child trying not to upset Putin - something Putin has capitalised on.
3) Allowing over 10 million illegal immigrants into America.
4) A joke of a “coup” to remove Biden and replace with Harris.
5) An obsession with trying to persecute their political rival (Trump), and using ‘law fair’ to attempt to discredit him - this has horribly backfired.
6) The only real policy I’ve heard from Harris & her campaign is “I’m not Trump” - and the American people have clearly indicated 4 more years of a weak, uninspired Democratic Party who’ve no plan to improve the lives of average Americans is clearly what they have voted to replace.
While I disagree strongly on who’s responsible for the Ukraine war, one thing we are likely to find common ground is that I’ve hope that this war will now be brought to a close under Trump - I’ve a feeling I won’t like the deal made, but what will be will be.

I agree with all your points(succinct … in a nutshell) but naturally not point No. 2 … as VP under Obama Biden was in Ukraine stirring it a decade ago … and his manipulators took full advantage of his dementia problems 2020 onwards … to go totally OTT on activating the planned wars and strife they engineered … (with no presence or brakes applied by Harris - her undoing - hands off for 4 years, eh?) People remembered Trump 2016-20 … the sowed seeds of diplomacy and firm detente handling to engineer PEACE. 3 nominations for the Nobel Peace Prize 3 years running … all ignored by the MSM. Luckily the electorate saw thru the propaganda promoting war … and chose peace and a healthy economy, home security, secure borders. 👍 |

Here’s a short early analysis of fundamental things that lost Kamala 15 million votes compared to Biden.
If Kamala as VP saw no disasters unfolding in the last 4 years … and saw no reason to change anything that Biden-Harris were doing …. she must have been more isolated and marginalised from the electorate experience … than we initially thought.
With Biden struggling with dementia, reading autocues and answering PRESS questions these last 4 years … surely Harris should have stepped up to the plate earlier … and shown she was more than just eye candy??
