LOL - nobody got any money out of expanding the population. Mass immigration led to a higher GDP just because you expanded the economy - what it didn't do was lead to higher growth so that GDP per capita remained the same - hence adding 10 million people to the population benefitted nobody. So you keep saying despite having it explained to you numerous times. Well feel free to explain how having no growth in per-capita GDP benefits the average working man. This should be worth listening to.. |

Because they don't have a clue, it is a complicated scenario, the higher the population the more money you need to print or borrow, hence create more debt, which if you have a industrial economy can be offset against exports, as we don't they just create debt. A service economy needs less people not more as a rule and you create non producers by the bucket load. While your imports constantly outstrip your exports creating more debt. Debt with interest. |
