a part of Billionaires and rich investors in uk land who else is going to be effected by the inheritance tax on farms
Fewer than 500 farms a year will be impacted by the Government’s reforms to inheritance tax, a group of economic experts has claimed.
The Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) said “significantly fewer” than the 500 farms a year estimated by the Government will be impacted by the changes.
The economics-focused think tank said some “relatively simple tax planning” will ensure farms worth more than £2 million will not hit the threshold at which they have to start paying inheritance tax.
In a briefing note, the IFS gave its backing to measures aimed at bringing farms into the scope of the tax and added if there were specific concerns about food production then ministers should use “better tools” to support

Someone needs to take Starmers passport away before he gives any more of our money away while devastating our own industries . He is not even trying to hide his betrayal of British taxpayers

I notice that Labour are not saying how much of the $300 Billion a year in foreign aid that was agreed at COP29 the UK are now signed up to paying.
In 5 years time this Labour Government will be giving away more money to foreigners than they are spending in the UK.

Well that can be a problem when you keep voting for globalist politicians, they care more about their global legacy than they do about the people who vote for them, all you are left doing is trying to pick up the pieces they leave behind them as their legacy.

Apart from anything else, keeping an interest in foreign countries maintains some influence in those countries, withdraw and Russia or China will step in. These things matter, they should not just be brushed aside for the sake of political bias.

I thought it was climate change, when you mention weather to a climate change fanatic they usually talk down to you as though you are a half wit and say “weather and climate change are two different things”.

You should know by now that everything is evidence of man made climate change even normality if such a thing exists.
