Always nice to have a supporter of terrorism here on the forum to provide some balance. Do you think it's good for a moderator to smear another member of illegal activities when it's obvious that this isn't what happened? I think that when someone tries to justify the motives for terrorist plots it is perfectly acceptable to suggest they support terrorism. If I were to suggest the USA had it coming to them on 9/11 because they had troops in Saudi Arabia you would be perfectly justified in calling me a terrorist supporter. I think mentioning my position as a mod is weak sauce. I'm entitled to my opinion as much as any other member so unless you are suggesting I'm abusing my position somehow it is an irrelevance. If you do think I'm abusing my position you had better have evidence to support it. Otherwise you are just trying to use it against me which is pretty pathetic.

You stated it as a fact, not as a suggestion, and now you're reading something from my own post (which was only a question) that isn't there. Just because Sandypine can see reasons why some people may resort to extremist measures does not mean he supports them.

So if I said I can see reasons why Pakistani rape gangs groom white trash girls whose parents don't know where they go at night you'd be OK with that would you?

Is it OK to talk shit if it's only a question? If brains were gunpowder would you have enough to blow your nose? Only a question. You sound like Tucker Carlson.

A high proportion are not in parental care, they're from publicly financed care homes run by incompetents.

Well, if you don't like the elected Gov, launch a violent coup to throw them out eh Proof we still have extreme nutters within our mists. These traitors will obviously be prosecuted for treason or whatever equivalent the Germans use. This should come as warning go us all that Nazi like extremism still exists in 21st century Europe.

Shame there isn't a NATO board, then you could have posted it there. There is a World board, though. I look forward to the day when the forum acquires its own International Scouting Organisation board, then Vinny will have somewhere else to post on happenings in countries in which that organisation is involved, even if they have nothing at all to do with scouting. It's entirely possible that the problems that this "far-right" has are related to the EU. It was EU imperialism that stirred up Putin to invade Ukraine. The EU (and Merkel" have been manouevring to get Ukraine to join the EU (and NATO) for years and the Russians have made clear their displeasure. And there's also the fact that Merkel decided to open Germany's doors to muslim marauders, which has led to a lot of irritation among the German population - especially the right wingers. It's also led to a lot of crime against women. Merkel couldn't have done this without the EU and Schengen. It's amusing to recollect that the original idea of the EU was to stop war in Europe by setting up a free trade area. But of course, as usual, power hungry politicians have indulged in mission creep. Now it's the EU that's provoking the wars in Europe and the surrender of sovereignty to the unelected dictator (the Commission) that's really pissing off the Right - to the extent that they want to overthrow the govt. <mod edited - hoping for a successful violent overthrow of the government is not acceptable>

Makes one wonder if their aims are more widely supported. Thirty years ago this notion would have seemed fanciful. However, since then the 'centre establishment' have moved relentlessly into dangerous crack-house/insane asylum territory and things are a lot less stable as a result.

The only acceptable way to overthrow a government is by the ballot box.
Simple.
I realise some countries aren't democracies. But Germany is.

You accused somebody, very directly, of being a supporter of terrorism on this forum. I looked and found no grounds for the accusation. Obviously you don't have a problem with smearing members on this forum with accusations of illegal activities, when they just seem to be offering an objective argument as to why there are people in Germany who may resort to such extreme measures. Well done, you've created an environment of fear where people won't dare engage.

Yes, it was only a question and one that was pretty straight forward. I guess I was expecting a little reason, but considering the fact that I am now met with insults I can only conclude that I was wrong.

If that means people are afraid to support coup attempts then good. This is not 4chan.

Far more likely Putin had a hand in it. He's been sponsoring the far-right for a long time. Remember when Farage refused to vote for EU measures to control Russian propaganda?

Your accusation is nothing more than a smear and now looks like intentional intimidation to silence him. I can't see this 4chan being any worse than any other uniformed echo-chamber, not that I've ever visited it.

Sandy said: 'I suppose the question is why did it takes so long for people to consider a coup.' This strongly suggests that their actions were reasonable.
