Its finally happening that Britain is now collapsing, that Labour has been angling for that certainly since Harold Wilsons time, maybe before. And its the ordinary man in the street who pays. It costs me about 90 £ a week for shopping for two, theres one roast in that, thats 360 a month, god knows how poorer people live.
Tax is up, and going higher, we are taxed upon taxes in clever ways, income tax, petrol tax, purchase tax, booze tax, it goes on forever. Now pensions, heating whatever, its give in one hand and take with another.
Then we are told we are racist, speak wrong, our history is evil.
Anyone had enough yet?

Thatcher! FFS Thatcher was fifty years ago. Why not carp on about Macmillan or Baldwin they're just as relevant as Thatcher. This was mostly to get the young into debt whilst universities got rich. It wouldn't have been so bad if the courses were relevant to the needs of the country. I have no idea why the boy believes it has anything to do with Thatcher or state education, which wasn't any better under Labour. Now it's like 100 to a class and nobody can actually teach anything without being sacked for challenging a pupil's retarded beliefs. Another reason teachers in many schools cant actually teach anything is because these days many of the kids in the class cant speak English.

So Starmer has admitted the pensioners winter fuel allowance has been axed to pay for Union pay demands, so he's looking after the needs of the wealthy, and the poor and vulnerable are kicked to the curb.

Well when he said that 'things will get worse before they get better' I was thinking 'for who'?..
Certainly not the Public Sector who are getting above inflation payrises, certainly not the Unions who are getting everything they ask for with no reforms to working practices, certainly not to the 9 million on welfare who could work but are allowed not to, certainly not to the 100000 illegal migrants getting an amnesty and access to welfare payments..

Things are going to get worse for those with the smallest shoulders who will be carrying the most weight, those with the broardest shoulders will yet again by carrying the smallest weight.

I haven't listened to Starmers speech in entirety, I couldn't put myself through that. But I am reliably informed that in this keynote speech to the nation he didn't mention smash the gangs or immigration once. So I think it's a given that things will indeed get worse, especially when it comes to mass cross channel illegal immigration.

Why not blame the REAL culprits of the worst financial mess the UK has been in since the Second World War - THE CONSERVATIVES. It was pretty obvious that they had run out of money and were hiding a huge black hole, all the signs were there. Councils either going bankrupt or in desperate financial situations, our prisons service a total mess due to no investment, schools falling to pieces, NHS in a worse state than it was even in 1996 ( and it was bad then ), and yet we had Rishi Sunak flying around in hellicopters and private jets in a contract worth millions. The Winter Fuel Payments was a nice idea introduced by a Labour government in better times, but as things are its a luxury we can no longer aford due to the previous government (lets repeat that line) ... due to the previous government. Even the OBR admitted that borrowing and the deficit was getting out of control, as shown in Julys borrowing figures. Erm no, we are not in the worse situation since WWII... that has been rebuffed as complete bollocks by many independent organisations because we have (1) low unemployment (2) historically low interest rates (3) historically low inflation (4) we are not in recession. Repeating a Labour line doesn't make it fact, they are just as guilty as everybody else for spinning the truth. Read all sides and you can pretty much form an accurate opinion as what the truth might be. In this case they are spinning in attempt to avoid scrutiny on some ideological driven pain they are about to inflict. Look at the facts, if the economy is truly fucked why have they committed to no income tax, NI or VAT rises? These levers raise the most sums by far, so the "grown up" thing to do on day would have been to reverse the NI cuts the Tories did. Starmer could have grown a funny mustache, combed his hair to one side and made some unfortunate hand gestures and still won that election! It's the same old problem with Labour, they pretend we can have it all without high taxes. They simply refuse to say we are living beyond our means, and instead blame somebody else. If we want Nordic levels of public service, we need to pay Nordic levels of tax! Personally, I would be up for that... there just isn't a party anywhere that makes the case for it... it's just lies from everybody!

He'll only start tackling that 12 months before the next GE, by which time there will be irreversible damage done, that no government can undo.

All Starmer is offering is catastrophising the previous government as the root of all his evils. Apart from robbing pensioners and arresting white folk, Starmer only has the blame game.
Things can only get worse under the identity politic of this government.

Yes, Starmer is a one trick pony, 'Blame the Tories for everything', that's his cop out which he will continue to use until the next GE, because he hasn't a scooby what's going on, and he's clueless how the less well off live.

I did notice when he was asked about cronyism, after placing Labour activists in key positions within the "politically neutral" civil service, he completely refused to answer. He also refused to take a question from GB News, again. He really is an authoritarian left wing autocrat. Anyone who cant see trouble ahead should take the blindfold off.

Well the ones who voted Labour will be the ones kicking themselves, at least those of us who tried to tell them what would happen wont feel as betrayed, because we already knew what was in store.

There's a reason why the Tories suffered a record electoral defeat. To quote Bill Clinton "it's the economy stupid". If people have noticeably less money in their pocket you can't spin that away, ditto crumbling public services that we all rely on. It was plainly obvious to anyone with an ounce of objectivity that the country was a mess after 14 years of Tory or Tory led government.
I welcome a PM who tells it as it is rather than telling us what they think we want to hear like Johnson or what they think regardless of the consequences like Truss.
Digging us out of the hole we're in is a huge undertaking, it remains to be seen if Starmer and co are able to do so, I have my doubts personally, there seems to be a worrying lack of proactivity about this government. However the first step in fixing a problem is admitting you have a problem and I applaud Starmer for doing that at least, although that is probably an indication on how low the bar has been set by his recent predecessors.

Why didn't the 'liar' tell that to the people during the GE campaign , because he's a con artist that's why.
If he'd have told the truth about what he was going to do if he became Prime minister he may still have won the GE but nowhere near the majority he won by.
What he is doing now is exactly what he planned to do, the fact he's blaming the Tories was the excuse he was always going to use, but some of us were already on to his con tricks, he's a lying, deceitful, disgusting excuse for a human being.

Yep. As I said many times, voting for the other cheek of the same arse was at best never going to change much and at worst would be, well - much worse. Which it rapidly is becoming. I just didn't think it would get this bad this quickly.
