It isn't a US proxy war with Russia. The USA forced Ukraine into the Minsk appeasement surrendering Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk. Still Putin kept up his attacks. The USA and the rest of NATO forced Ukraine into Minsk II. Still Putin kept up his attacks.
Appeasment didn't work before, it won't work now. The answer is to defeat Putin, and force the Russian military to turn on him and execute him on state TV for his crimes, just like Ceacescu was executed for his crimes on Romanian TV.
And I don't care if you don't like guns. A gun like that would take his legs off in one shot and leave him bleeding to death whilst begging for a coup de grace. After all the murders he's committed, that's what he deserves.

They can wear down a rival, test their military technology and let the Ukrainians die instead of yanks . When it’s all over Ukraine will be in their debt and the multinationals can pick the bones . The answer is whatever the yanks think the answer is . So far the US is giving Ukraine enough not to lose and not enough to win. They obviously don’t agree with you, do they ? As for your pop guns . I’d appreciate it if you didn’t give yourself a chubby fantasising over killing Putin .

Far more Ukrainians would have died if the rest of the world had not provided arms to aid Ukraine. It's not a matter of debt, it's a matter of life and death. The aid has saved Ukrainian lives. There have already been acts of genocide at Bucha. There were acts of genocide in Chechnya 24 years ago, with mass graves all over that country. And as Chechens were made to dig their own graves and were mass murdered, we did NOTHING. 12th March, Blair calls Putin a "breath of fresh air" and "impressive". news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/674480.stm5th March 2000: www.theguardian.com/world/2000/mar/05/russia.chechnyaBlair must have known. And knowing that, still meeting and appeasing the gruesome piece of shit who ordered the illegal war and genocide in Chechnya, to call him a "breath of fresh air"? Blair the appeaser, is even more of a scumbag than I realised at the time, and I hated him even then.

Not one any Putin lover will like, but the truth hurts those who don't want to face it. Putin is losing, his defeat and death is inevitable.

In WW1 Germany got close to Paris, in WW2 Germany got close to Moscow. In both wars the invaders still lost. Putin is making catastrophic mistakes and losing a thousand men a day.
The meat grinder is called that for a reason.

Germany was 43 miles from Paris in 1918. Germany was 10 miles from Moscow in 1941. Russia is fighting using WW1 tactics of artillery barrages, destroying entire towns / cities, leaving nothing but scorched earth and throwing wave after wave of men to their deaths to gain ground. Ukraine are wiping out wave after wave of the enemy until there's nothing to defend then pulling back and letting wave after wave of the enemy commit suicide. But meanwhile other Ukrainian forces are behind enemy lines hitting the airfields, warehouses, oil refineries, ruining the FSB dictatorship supply chain. It's done so much damage Putin has been begging the North Koreans for help. And even that's not working. The Rostov oil refinery was on fire for TWO WHOLE WEEKS. Deep into Russia, Russian Tupolev Blackjack bombers are burning.
Russian warehouses are being destroyed.

Nope. Not lies. It's just that it's not going well for Putin as his logistics are falling apart, he's losing a thousand men a day and Russia has been invaded. He isn't able to counter attack in Kursk, or Belgorod because he's lost so much equipment and logistics.

Was it because Russia is gaining ground in Donbas and moving towards an important Ukrainian hub?

Russia is gaining ground because the Ukrainians are falling back from destroyed towns and making the Russians set up again and waste more ammunition and men, whilst running out of it and them. Ukraine is an enormous country, Donbas is huge. Russia is getting small pyrrhic victories whilst losing its supply chain and its manpower. Ukraine are in a position to attack the invaders far behind their front lines and are doing so.
Any idea how many Russians died trying to take Bakhmut before Ukraine gave up the flattened town? What's going to happen when the illegal Kerch strait bridges are destroyed by F16s? Crimea will be cut off. Southern Donbas will be cut off. Rostov is not going to be able to supply the oil the invaders need.
Putin is going to lose.

So the Russian are only making ground in Donbas ( and getting nearer an important Ukrainian hub ) because the Ukrainians are letting them . They never mentioned that in the Times radio video. Funny that .

They wanted Putin to mount a counteroffensive in Kursk, which he hasn't done (because he can't). What the Ukrainians should do now is to go around and attack the Russians from behind and mount a pincer movement. Get round to Rostov. Take Rostov. Attack Russia's occupation force from behind.
