It's seems very weird to me that a woman has been arrested for retweeting the (now known to be) misinformation about the name of the Southport "suspect". If the police are going to start monitoring the internet and arresting people posting misinformation they won't have time to deal with any real crime at all. Pointless. But what about policing the BBC's misinformation? There is some point to that because so many people get their news from the BBC. Yet Jeremy Bowen repeated the claims of Hamas (a proscribed terrorist organisation) that the IDF (Israeli Defence Force) had blown up the hospital in Gaza, killing over 500 people. This caused a massive amount of trouble across the globe and led to many countries having to increase their terrorist alert state. It was a massive incitement to violence ro muslims around the world. But when we found out that it was Hamas who had blown up the hospital Bowen was asked to apologise and he refused. Sheer arrogance. I'd like to see him banged up. I think you'll find that it was the Israelis. Their denials are very hollow given the number of hospitals they have bombed to smithereens. Then there are the schools, the mosques, the, so called, "safe" zones, where people go to for "safety". The Israelis then, 'inexplicably', bomb the areas in question. Netanyahu and his government are out of control. Israel is a rogue, terrorist state. 10 months and they still haven't rooted out Hamas. As a result of their incompetence, the IDF finds that it must continue with the mass slaughter. Killing people for the sole reason that they are Palestinian! Genocide and Ethnic cleansing that is what we are witnessing. The West, unbelievably, stands by and lets the Israelis get off, literally, with murder. Whatever Israel holds over the US, and the West in general, will come out at some point. History will not look very kindly on the stance taken by the US, the UK, Germany etc. What gets me is the rank hypocrisy of allowing Israel to compete in sporting events when Russia was banned straight away for its invasion of Ukraine. |

Yes. Blair has a lot to answer for - and Alistair Campbell too. The war in Iraq was patently illegal. More to the point it was obvious to anyone who knew anything about the ME that removing Saddam would be hugely destabilising. Crazy. Yet the BBC seem to regard Blair and Campbell as gurus. They're always having them on to give their ludicrous opinions. Both should be in jail. "Always having them on"? When were they on? How many times were they on? The person who is "always on" is Farage! And, his take on the rioting was out of this world. Far from your "BBC is LW" fantasies, it is RW ideologues who turn up ad nauseum. Take QT as an example, Farage has been on numerous times, as have others of the Right. RW commentators appear more often than those of the left etc. I think you should come clean, admit you haven't watched BBC News programmes for years, and that you now get your fix from watching the odious GB News. |

How many times have they allowed independent observers to determine the presence of Hamas at these places? That's none as well.
