We should expect then the new labour announcement of council housing building must be imminent.

we are voting Labour' ... so there you have it, Clueless people voting for a Clueless Labour. you said Corbyn's Labour got more votes in 2019 than Starmer's got this year. The idea that more people have suddenly become pro Labour is false. What is the case is more people disenfranchised. Apathy is not good. And Reform split the Tory vote.

Apathy is not good. But is it apathy - or the conscious realisation that one's vote simply doesn't count? Under the FPTP system, that's often the case. And Reform split the Tory vote as well. Reform + Tory = 10,944,532 votes. Labour got 9,704,655 votes this year.
Labour got 10,295,912 votes in 2019 and 12,877,918 votes in 2017.
Labour didn't win this election, the Tories lost it.

Tell you what posters, here's a prediction for clueless lefties who voted for Starmer:
"Starmer will not be a full term prime minister"
Before the election people were whispering about Rayner replacing Starmer, and this morning I listened to some hack who said 'behind the scenes Andy Burnham is testing Starmer chair for size'. This is a week into this government, what's it going to be like after 12 months? I think Starmer will have a rough short spell as prime minister, before he's booted out.

Yes, absolutely.
But my point is that fewer and fewer voters will turn out as they realise that their vote is effectively useless.

Well, we need signs from government that it isn't useless. Hold more referendums.

Yep. I think Parliament should stand down and just let the EU become caretakers. Pillock.

But they don't want to know what the public want or thinks. They want to pretend they know so that they can tell us what they want and pretend that it enjoys public support.
We don't live in a democracy.

They didnt even want a European referendum , which even the then liberals mocked milliband over , never mind referendums on various public issues. Anyhow vinkovski , I thought you said you were against referendums , or does that only apply in scotland? lol.

So far, not one U Turn from the Labour party manifesto, or pledges going into the election, but then its less than one week since the new government took over. what is the great plan then Sid? I must have missed it. Grand sounding titles , with little detail like GB energy , which isnt an energy company, and won't renationalise energy , or for example Reeves shaking up planning permission to allow builders to build dodgy estates ,yet more unaffordable housing , at massive profit to them , on flood plains? No council houses for the English , and Wes streeting demand scotland privatise our NHS ? I tell you Sid , im patiently waiting on the red tories setting the heather on fire , im giving you time , its early days , but by christ labour are boring. It seems that man of the people, Knight of the Realm ,of the extra special personal pension fund just for him and no-one else could hugely benefit from any relaxation in planning regs as he owns 7 acres of prime land in Surrey , which, with planning permission, would by now realise in excess of £10 m. Councils will be put under pressure to grant planning so how long before those prime 7 acres see pp granted? He has always been keen to play down his privilege and play up his working-class roots. But Sir Keir Starmer owns seven acres of land that could be worth up to £10 million, The Mail on Sunday can reveal. The Labour leader acquired the property, on green belt next to the Surrey home where he grew up, in 1996, while he was working as a human rights lawyer. It does not have planning permission, but the local council is under pressure to provide thousands of new homes, and has accepted it must sacrifice green belt to meet targets. Families living near the field fear Sir Keir might one day sell it and worry that any future development will transform the area’s character.
