No, I understood your reply, so much so that I knew that it was vacuous and/or irrelevant bluster.
And I know that what you say in your latest offering above is the case but so what? That doesn’t stop it being vacuous and/or irrelevant bluster too..

Becauseyou don't like, or don't understand my reply, is your problem. The Acts have been amended Fact. There is absolutely no reason why Article 1 can't be broken. Indeed, in 2014 we had the opportunity to do just that Scotland voted to remain part of our shared country. Get over it. You are British. England are a British team.
Get behind your countrymen racist SNAT.

English sporting failures make a lot of the sweaties feel good about themselves . It’s petty but it’s ingrained . It reduces the strain of their shoulder chips . I would agree. I am an Anglophile yet when the England football team play I find it hard to support them and always get a little thrill when an opposing team scores. It is ingrained yet my Mum was English and otherwise I like England and the English. An English sporting team brings out the worst in most Scots. It is undoubted bigotry that many revel in. I try to keep it at the jolly banter level but have gone over the top once or twice after a couple of drinks for which I am ashamed. It’s fine as long as it is banter and not hatred. Both ways . The Auld enemy .👍

So much so that you deflect away from showing your ignorance by using the words "vacuous" and "irrelevant" as attacks on the relevant info in my post.

As an Englishman, it brings me great joy seeing a Scot cheer on any other team than England.
It shows we live rent free in their head. It shows they are forever in our shadow. It shows small time mentality.

Not for the first time you have literally lost the plot and forgotten the subject matter of a discussion with me. You obviously have a problem with maintaining focus. This particular strand of our exchanges is not about Scottish history but about the constitutional configuration of the United Kingdom. On that matter, you deny that Scotland and England are both sub-national territories of the country commonly referred to as The United Kingdom and instead falsely claim that ”the constitutional "reality" is that two countries, England & Scotland, the principality of Wales, and the made up region known as NI. make up the UK state”. In support of that claim you have offered up a number of irrelevant pieces of information together with some vacuous out and out bluster, none of which does anything whatsoever to support your false assertion or to undermine the fact that the constitutionally (and historically) correct position is as I have stated above i.e. “The Kingdom of Scotland and The Kingdom of England both ceased to exist in 1707, instead merging to become the larger Kingdom of Great Britain - which in turn ceased to exist in 1801, instead merging with The Kingdom of Ireland to become the even larger United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland which, bar the secession of part of Ireland a century or so ago, leaving us with The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, is how things remain to this day”.

You don't deny your historical ignorance then? Several articles of the Treaty of Union have been broken. There was an early challenge to the Union which only just failed to win the day. Article 1 is not immune to annulment.

I feel no need to comment on my knowledge of Scottish history or on the irrelevancies you trot out in your post above for the reason I have already provided i.e. “this particular strand of our exchanges is not about Scottish history but about the constitutional configuration of the United Kingdom”.

It's a shame that it won't be a Scotland England final, but at least there's a British team still in the Euros.

I will refrain from commenting until after the final , when you finally face a top 15 team in terms of ranking. It's a win win for me Buckie. If you lose , the inevitable pelters. If you win , its should have scot indy support through the roof. so thanks for the fun either way.

Great bond been developed between scotland and Europe . The serbs were telling us how they chased the England fans down the road and took their wee flags off them. WTF is is with that cunt who is being shown a few times among the England support with a World War Two fighter pilots hat on ? Talk about trying to noise the germans up. 80 years ago FFS let it go.

While football is a sport at Euro 2024. The Scottish have relegated their own team within the sport because they're so shite, and have made the Euro a contest focusing on 'who has the loveliest set of fans?'. lol
