A black Briton, someone born here, raised here, with loyalty to our country I would consider voting for, depending on their policies.
A foreigner, no.
There's something about being from here. British born children of migrants have that.
Migrants themselves can be here for a multitude of reasons. Wouldn't want a Russian spy or a Chinese spy in Downing Street, would you? And yes, there have been British born traitors sometimes, Kim Philby springs to mind, but he never sought to govern. We need politicians who are loyal to us.

Even first generation are going to be loyal to their parents and still be locked between two countries and cultures, and if that ever came between them and their duty and loyalty to the country then they'd most likely be compromised. Still, it's only my view and I can see many are absolutely intolerant of views outside of this establishment dictatorship, which is probably why they're using multiple accounts to bypass ignore filters or have some other hand in the game.

I think those are rose coloured spectacles you are viewing this with. The British were in India for three hundred plus years and to Indians and to the British they were always the British in India even if they had ten generations born in India. A feeling of belonging nationally is by no means the same as a feeling of belonging ethnically. We have heard over many years how the British used divide and rule as a means of keeping control, if not peace, in India and the Empire. That process is now being enacted on the British in their homeland whether by design or accident is a moot point. For a democracy to work there has to be a degree of homogeneity as regards the populace and in the UK that is being lost as many groups/communities prefer cultural separation as opposed to complete integration and feel they cannot be represented democratically unless their representative is of them. Diversity is not a strength it is a hinderance and the seeking of diversity appears to be a game plan to keep society divided and negate any real democratic wishes emerging. |

I haven't heard of classified information being leaked to Putin by Sunak. That is opinion, to many he has overseen the continuing decline and destruction of the UK which is no loyalty at all. |
