First exports of UK beef to the USA in 20 years underway UK beef to be served on US plates for first time in over 20 years, with first exports commencing from a Northern Irish facility.
British lamb shipped to America for first time in over two decades
British lamb producers now have access to a market of over 300 million people
And of course the eu cannot as they have broken their own rules of feeding ofal to livestock.
BSE hasn’t gone away, so why has the EU lifted a ban on feeding animals to other animals?

That's a good thing however financially it's not going to be a big boost to farming.

So you post a link that shows your 'broken their own rules' allegation to be completely untrue. We need an 'own goal smiley'

Meanwhile, the Daily Express repeatedly point out that Brexit has failed in every respect - and successive govts have failed to effectively "Deliver, Deliver, Deliver". What are the Express saying? What else?
My copy of the Spectator says Liz Truss is hated universally, even the right-wing media can't stand her - even the Express can't stand her - even her own party can't stand her. No one likes her, no one trusts her, no one would trust her to run a bath let alone the country. That's why she's failing so abysmally in all polls.
And OP is peanuts in the big picture.
In typical Daily Express style, they corrected the article; they issued a correction at the top - because they got it wrong (as they usually do with their clickbait articles), nonetheless it's instructive when even the most pro-Brexit paper is posting such things.

We need an 'own goal smiley' It's nice to be able to post on a furum where a cetain moderator abuses his own powers to back his own assertions and trained trolls. There are dozens of links out there to where the eu have broken their own rules over this and unlike the UK CANNOT export their meat to the USA.

But as Tesco say: every little helps Do you think that exports will be instantly megga when they first start? They have to build up and they will, there are 300 million plus consumers who live in the USA and this is only a start. Scotish Angus beef is cherished in the USA and that is why it fetches a premium price. All this friggging doom and gloom from the remainers is comical and just shows how desperate they realy are so they can spout we told you so.... They have learnt nothing over the last 7 years and just make themselves look even dumber to the rest of us who have a working braincell and support our own country rather that a dictatorship who are made up of total losers.

If the EU was a dictatorship, they wouldn't have let us leave.
I don't particularly like it, I grant you (and I voted leave). But it's not a dictatorship, it needs a phenomenal amount of reform, but it isn't a dictatorship.

The EU allowing animals to be fed PAP is dangerous and a bad idea, I agree, but so are incredibly lowered food standards in the UK - and lifting the 1989 ban on importing hormone enhanced American beef (enacted by the EU) in the UK. The US also lifted a ban on EU sheepmeat in 2021, so why did you say the EU "cannot" export sheepmeat - when the USA's ban on EU sheepmeat was lifted? You were wrong. You were also wrong about them 'breaking their own rules' as they simply amended the rules, so how could they break the amended rules? That said, feeding animals PAP is a bad idea.
And your snide remark about "trained trolls" is especially ironic coming from you of all people.

IMHO, Brexit could have been a success had it been handled correctly by governments.

There is still a risk to cattle anyway, but a lot less so. They are worried about cross-contamination. They will be doing multiple different types of tests both on feed and the animals to check they aren't infected with anything. The feed is also a lot higher quality than it used to be an is locally sourced.
Nonetheless, concerns rightly remain - and I think they should be more certain it's safe.

And yet seems you can't find one and the one you posted shows they did not break their own rules. Meantime Ireland (an EU nation) is exporting meat to the USA

Cloud Cuckoo Land
The United States is the worlds NUMBER 1 producer of Beef, and is the worlds 5th largest exporter of Beef, but it is not only for this reason that UK Beef exports to the US will never become big business.
THe US market for Beef is led by Corn Fed Beef, unheard of in the United Kingdom, and even I know that the flavour and taste of corn fed beef is far superior to British grassland Beef.
Why do people believe that doing business with nations on the other side of the world, or across the Atlantic, is more favourable than doing business with your neighbours.
