There are no records of the negotiations, either written, film footage or sound. In the press statements in the aftermath of the failed negotiations it was merely stated what the Israeli Terms were, and that the terms were unacceptable to the Palestinians. There was never any mention or suggestion that the terms were proposed by President Clinton There is no alternative to having foreign military bases on your sovereign territory, other than having no foreign military bases. There is no alternative to Israel keeping territory which it had STOLEN, other than to hand it back ( the Palestinians would have accepted "other alternative" Israeli land as a compromise. There is no alternative to the request that ILLEGAL settlements built on STOLEN Palestinan land be dissmantled, other than to dissmantle them. The Palestinians would have accepted other / alternative Israeli land as a compromise. The Palestinian demands were 100% fair and reasonable considering that they were simply asking for what was theirs in the first place. No - you are simply shilling for Hamas now. You demand the destruction of Israel - that is plainly not going to be acceptable to anyone. The fact remains that every time the palestinians have been offered a 2 state solution they have rejected it - going back to 1937. Clinton bent over backwards to get them to agree to a deal and Arafat just walked away without even trying to negotiate it. |

If their interest lies in backward religious tribalism then they're clearly unfit to be part of a western democracy Could the same not be said of those who follow the backward religious tribalism of Judaism? Personally I think Judaism, Christianity and Islam are three rotten fruits from the same rotten tree. The sooner all three religions are expunged from all forms of public discourse and cease being net beneficiaries of the public purse, and become purely private issues the better. All The Best |
