I don't think anyone is suggesting that you are editing wiki, but wiki can be and is edited which is why it's veracity can be and often is questioned. Tell me, what reality in your opinion, don't 'righties' know? I personally wouldn't use it for anything serious. I don't even think I could consider it a secondary source - it lacks sufficient scrutiny. But you use the Sun newspaper lol . |

I agree, having said that I'll be the first to hold my hand up and say I often refer to or quote wiki, because it's easy. And besides, if it looks iffy it can easilly be checked. I think wiki is OK as long as you're aware it's fallible. Unfortunately some people do think it's some sort of an online dictionary. |

Apparently, this is how it spends its existence. Several years ago my daughters husband worked for The Times, he jumped ship and went to the Daily Mail. I asked him why he moved, he said the Daily Mail is the only paper with a future. Looking at what's happened to printed newspapers over the past decade or so, he was right. |
