Starmer called it a seismic victory ,the mans a fool ,what he should be saying is its worrying that Labour have LOST 2000 votes since 2019 . The only thing we can take from this is that the conservative vote has rightly collapsed in fact the whole vote collapsed with approx 25,000 less people voting last night than in 2019 Labour may well win the next GE but I can't see anything to celebrate . Being in power because few people can be bothered to vote is a sad state of affairs

All the main party chiefs should be worried, the low turnout is an indictment of the state of British politics.

All the main party chiefs should be worried, the low turnout is an indictment of the state of British politics. Why should they be worried when this has been the trend for the last 20-30 years? Two reasons Low turnout is how the BNP got two MEP's The same can happen for the rabid left and greens. Indeed, it has The other is that there does come a point where enough people will decide the shysters in positions of power need a wake up call When Harold Wilson fell out of his rowing boat into the sea a caring passing fellow boater hauled the soggy excuse of a party leader onto his craft Be honest if a politician were to drift by in distress today, would you a) risk your neck to save them b) stand and laugh c) livestream their demise and sell the footage on the dark web. For me, c) has been the only way I might see my finances improve under the shower in power for the past decade and future decades to come

It was, wasn't it The Tory activists round here are of course trying to bleat a mantra 'vote reform, get labour' Which is a true statement The reply I gave was 'well actually, vote reform, see the Tories lose their deposit' Speaking of which, I see Howlin' Laud Hope DIDN't come last

All the main party chiefs should be worried, the low turnout is an indictment of the state of British politics. But they will keep up pretending the majority of the electorate is not sick and tired of all of them.

You think finishing 3rd a good result The fool trice said Reform would finish 2nd Think they will feel disappointed. Well TTL you think a win on a lower turnout rates as a seismic result, don’t forget the main parties have been established for many generations Reform are very much in its infancy so their result is if anything better. Anyway how’s labour vote holding up in Oldham?

Anyway how’s labour vote holding up in Oldham? New Labour hasn't been formed for many years .looks like the 4th landslide victory for them since it was formed in 1995. How many names has farages party been under in the last 20+ Labour won by 58%of the vote

I can only say I told you so, now both the House of Commons and the House of Lords while swiftly followed by the civil service needs complete reform or you are going to have a huge majority telling you none of it is in their name.
