If Scotland needs subsidy, then it should be subsidised. If it does not, then redirect taxpayers to the most deprived parts of the UK. I believe in means testing, not favouritism. Means Testing for many, many benefits and areas of Public Spending would cost way more than is saved by potentially delivering spending only where it is needed. Which is why I am surprised by Reeves making the WFP Means Tested; is is likely to cost her more than it saves. All The Best

Assess deprivation all over this country and focus efforts on undoing deprivation, building colleges, industrial estates, roads, better houses. If deprivation is highest in Scotland focus spending on job creation. Get deprivation down everywhere and keep assessing. Work towards a situation where everyone in work has a living wage or better, irrespective of where they live. Where everyone has the same access to public services if they need them. Where everyone paying tax has the same level of representation for their contributions. And everyone paid from tax and old enough to vote have the same democratic rights (unless they're in prison).
