The most important promise they have made is to ditch FPTP in favour of PR.

I guess we will have to wait and see how that ends for him, I doubt it would be sensible standing on a Conservative ticket somehow.

All The Best It doesn't matter what the serving government is the energy companies are a law unto themselves, NOTHING or NO ONE will get in the way of the excessive profits, salaries and bonuses, the shareholders come first, and this government and previous governments including Labour will NEVER EVER be able to touch them.

Compulsory Renationalisation of sectors that, were they to fail, would have to be bailed-out by the Tax-Payer to prevent the whole country collapsing. That means, at the least Electricity, Gas, & Water, and potentially Railways and at least one Internet Provider. Pay shareholders a Share-Price equal to what they paid adjusted for Inflation, minus the value of dividends received so far - that way NO ONE AT ALL will be out of pocket. All The Best

But as the man in your avatar said "The supreme function of statesmanship is to provide against preventable evils" and "The object of government is not just to increase the gross national product, but to increase the health and well-being of the nation as a whole." All The Best

I bet he won't be alone for very long...
Reform UK has its first MP: Ex-Tory chair Lee Anderson declares he 'wants my country back' as he joins Nigel Farage party in major blow for embattled Rishi Sunak... with insurgents warning of MORE defections before election
That's funny. I thought bankrupt English fascist racist tits got their country back with brexit..

Does that forum have any remaining posters ? Wasn't it supposed to be closing when HH gave up after his very short tenure and Steve cancelling those who didn't accede to his perceived omnipotence ? Welcome I try to keep things ticking over. But when the remaining Mono-Mod breaks the Forum Rules to protect his entirely undeserved position as Moderator there's only so much I can do. It doesn't help that the current Forum Owner is "in absentia" and doesn't give enough of a damn to actually see what the real problem is. All The Best TBF I think Jog has his health problems and only a fool would neglect them for what appears a lost cause.

Then be thankful that bankrupt England will be able to build more nuclear power stations owned by the French through the proceeds of energy rich Scotland

Yup. PVs finally managed to escape the clutches of UK debate . Well, finally fed up of a certain member thinking his opinion is the only one permitted there. All The Best Translation: PV posted a series of trolling and delusion posts and when someone (not me) challenged him he posted 'Fuck you sock puppet' So despite the multiple requests to ban him permanently I gave him a rest for a week.

I thought this was about Lee Anderson and Reform.
Which made me look up the local candidate for Sittingbourne to find that he is William Fotheringham-Bray, 23 years old, fresh out of college, so not sure how much life experience he has. He talks a good job, but anyone can on a website, so I'll keep an eye on him on TwitteX and see how things progress.

Christ, thankfully you don't get a say on what goes on in the 'real world'.
