It's getting that ridiculous in this country that the police can't even describe a criminal suspect as 'black' because it's deemed racist, we assume they are non-white because of the lack of description, I bet white criminals in Africa are described exactly as that 'white' suspect. You can end up with ludicrous, contradictory situations - say, where black people are absolutely allowed to talk about white people (or 'whiteness') as a generality , but white people aren't allowed to talk about black people or 'blackness' - or in which black people can claim both sameness and separateness - resorting to one or the other when it suits them. I for one think ethnic minority can be very racists against other race I'm sure there nany against racism feel The same

Then they aren't from here, they are from the Caribbean. The answer of an Ignoramous Black people who were born in St Lucia, Jamaica, Barbados were born as British people under the Union Flag, their language was English, they sang "God Save The King" ( or Queen ), many went to Church, and many fought for this country in two World Wars. Your answer is an outstanding example of open Bigotry, perhaps it ought to be framed and put on a wall as an example of the worst side of British attitudes. The answer of a simpleton. If all people from China became officially British then any difference between Chinese and British people would be a racist construct …right? The answer of a simpleton. All this lefty nonsense has caused deeper segregation, we are made to feel guilty for being 'white privileged' and black people are made to feel like 'victims', all fueled by the lefty agenda, Labour need to keep this narrative alive and kicking, because this is how they get votes, Labour will stop this happening, Labour is on your side.
They have completely brainwashed the minorities in to this illusion of victimhood, but the Labour Muslim voters have shown Labour just how all this manipulative tactic can backfire.
Yet more deviation from fact and reality The fact is that post war, 1946 onwards, black immigrants faced utterly appaling and widespread discrimination in every aspect of life, from jobs and housing, in the streets and bars, and in schools and factories. It has taken over 70 years to get to where we now are, a much better place, but black people have had to fight and struggle to get here, aided by successive governments, who first of all made discrimination illegal with several Race Relations Acts of Parliament. The white working class were some of the worst when it came to discrimination and bigotry, and there can be found MANY examples in 20th century history of workers and Trade Unions openly supporting such things as "Colour bars", probably the most famous resulted in The Bristol Bus Boycott. The Labour Party in recent history has sought ways to make society more equal, where merit should be the only consideration. However, the considerable disparity in opportunities for minorities has called for measures to rid society of those disparities. When Public Inquiries in the 1980s asked why many areas of society, and many institutions were overwhelmingly white, and did not reflect the local or national population, those institutions such as The Metropolitan Police were forced to act. and please dont give us some Bull Shit about the police employed the best people for the job, because thats simply not true, its rubbish. Institutions like the Metropolitan Police were racist, and they purposely employed an almost white only police force. If Britain and its people had had a different attitude to OUR people from the Caribbean who came here, then perhaps a lot of the problems we have had with society would never have occured.

Because the Tories are lost, and there's seemingly little hope of the Conservatives winning the general election, the Right of politics is splintering and divided, the Conservative Party is now the subject of a Tug Of War between the Centre Right and the new breed of Rabble Rousers ( Populists ). The hardline Right ( populists ) have largely abandoned REAL politics, and are more and more resorting to vile, disgusting Rabble Rousing, culture wars, stirring up hatred and divisions in order to garner votes. People such as Suella Braverman and Lee Anderson, and many of their ilk are copying the very same tactics as used by supporters of the far Right in Germany in the 1930s. "All the problems with our society stem from one particular faith or religion"The right wing Tory MP Lee Anderson is in trouble this morning after it was revealed that he stated on GB News that "London is controlled by Islamists, after Sadiq Khan, the first Muslim Mayor of London, gave control of the city to Islamists". An outrageous and wholly untrue statement, for which Rishi Sunak MUST remove the Tory whip and kick him out of the party TODAY not Tomorrow. I have counted possibly THREE Muslim London Assembly Members of the 25, meaning that something like 90% of members ARE NOT Muslims, a percentage by the way which closely reflects Londons Muslim population. Many but not all the problems of our society are down to the politicians of all the party’s who decided that the best way to remain in power was to occupy the centre and so the electorate have little choice because they know whoever they vote for things will essentially remain the same. Do you have any thoughts why increasingly the electorate turnout is down year after year and the government are in power as a minority,do you think that the people of what were called the red wall constituencies are all populist and racists or ordinary but frustrated people? Do you also think Westminster is there to govern in a way they think is best for us or for the wishes of the majority. Do you think there is a problem with the influx of people with little control and also do you believe it racist to say so? I've answerd that plenty of time about the decline of voters not having a choice there plenty of indipendent Candidates like ukip/reform who be lucky to get much above 10% So it shows so called real right Is not the chose of the British public. Do you know them less likely to vote are are the traditional labour voters Because there young or unemployed..t

It's all made up nonsense by the lefties as a vote winning strategy, dumbing down minorities to make them feel victims of white people, Lenny Henry is forever doing it 'the big bad white people', the only racism in this country is in people's heads, put there by the sinister lefty mob.

I see, so then according to you the British government did not HAVE TO introduce Bills in Parliament to outlaw widespread racism. The MacPherson Report did not conclude that The Metropolitan Police was "institutionally racist" Racism never really happened much, and its all a lie that black people were given the worst jobs, overlooked for promotion, given the worst housing, pushed to the bottom of queues and lists. The Bristol Bus boycott never happened because Trade Unions were never racist The very first Notting Hill Riot was not caused by white racist mobs who objected to a white girl having a black boyfriend. Black people were never refused service in pubs, bars, cafes and restaurants, and there were never any signs which read "Black People Need Not Apply". What kind of deluded, warped and alternative kind of world do you live in ?

The racists do get an awfull lot of facts wrong Almost all of the Caribbean people who came to this country in The Windrush era 1946 - 1960 were British people when they set off, they were born British people in British overseas territories. After 1960, the MAJORITY of Caribbeans ( black people ) who arrived here to live and work were born as British people. It just goes to show that the real problem that these people have is not their ridiculous percieved alteration of British culture, its actually pure racism and bigotry based on the one fact that they are different. From 1914 to 1948 residents of British colonies were British subjects not citizens. Between 1948 and 1982 they were deemed to be Citizens of the United Kingdom and its colonies (CUKC). With the passage of the BNA 81 those CUKCs with the right of abode in the UK could become British citizens, if they took the trouble to apply. As the Windrush Scandal showed many didn't bother. Those that didn't became citizens of wherever they already were.
If you have a passport issued before 1982 you will see yourself described as a 'British Subject and CUKC'. One issued after that date will show you as a 'British Citizen' (if you qualify).

Excellent ... its called "positive discrimination" and is a process used where disparities either do exist, or have existed.
Its a remedy used in rebalancing inequalities, mostly eminating from the past, where people from ethnic minorities were purposely overlooked for either jobs, or promotion due entirely to discrimination.
Some people, mostly idiots, say that its not required because discrimination does not exist, or that it has never existed, hard to believe, but there are people with such ridiculous opinions.

You can spin it how you want to, but the bottom line is that most black people who came here from the Caribbean were born British people, and lived with a culture largely influenced by Britain. They were invited to come here, they believed that the "Mother Country" needed them to help out, to rebuild the country after the Second World War, to fill vaccancies. They were not freeloaders, not here for benefits, they were not foreign nationals, they did not come here to force their way of life upon us, or any of the other pathetic charges often leveled at immigrants from the Commonwealth or Colonies.
